A quiet evening walking through town unexpectedly turns into a dramatic incident that turns Jungkook's life upside down.
Amnesiac, unnamed and untamed girl finds her way into the young man's heart.
However with a dark past catching up to them, coun...
Walking down the street side by side, Jungkook couldn't help but send Yuri an inquiring look, scratching the back of his head. Ever since that waitress had spoken up, she'd been acting slightly out of it and he felt guilty.
Maybe she freaked out, seeing as they just clarified the friend term between them and were now thrown into the 'possibly lovers' business by the others around them.
She had to understand that this was just crazy talk, and the fact that he didn't speak up about it was just him shrugging it off.
As they entered a small street, void of any people, Jungkook's hand set on her wrist, stopping them both as he stepped closer to the wall. Yuri rose her brows at him, turning to face him and waiting for the words he seemed ready to say.
"Yuria,..."he said softly "I'm sorry about what that woman said, I didn't contradict her because it's usually pointless and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but I should have just told her that-"
"What are you talking about?"Yuri cut him off with a sudden frown, tilting her head with a confused expression.
"Well- you know the woman in the restaurant...saying that we... looked like a cute um couple..."
"..yeah?"
"I- realized this may have upset you?"he scratched the back of his head and she blinked a few times, eyes scanning his face.
"I'm not exactly upset about that."
"...then... why do you look so.. out of it?"he asked gravely and she looked away.
"I just... people never leave you alone do they?"her question took him by surprise and he let out a confused noise.
"Come again?"
"I mean wherever you go, people recognize you, they butt in your business like they own it, you know like it's supposed to make the front page in tomorrow newspaper, and some of them act like you're some alien they have to watch closely and THAT drives me nuts." Taking a deep breath after that monologue, Yuri exhaled and glanced at him sheepishly. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't say things like that, I don't know..."
Jungkook's eyes were still gazing at her so softly she looked away, not knowing what to do about it.
"That's what's upsetting you?"
"... Yeah! Isn't it upsetting YOU?"lips parted she returned the question to him and waited for an answer. Shrugging his shoulders, Jungkook sent her a small smile. "I don't really care anymore, I'm kinda used to it. Let's say it's part of the whole thing. Can't have one thing without the other."
