Wailing sirens, screams and flashlights filled the air in an endless jarring that pierced through his head. His hands desperately tried to block all the noise by pressing themselves against his ears. As his eyelids breached open, his eyes could barely envision the sight before him, a warm substance gliding from his forehead and half blinding him. Shaking uncontrollably, his hand desperately reached towards the disastrous scene.
Pain. Withering pain exploded in his body, invading his limbs and stealing away any ounce of strength left. His lips tore and bled as they parted and a burning sensation rose in his throatat his attempt to scream, say something, or even call out.
And it happened again, he could only feel the shattering of his heart and the sudden void inside, his mind desperately trying to keep up with the tragedy. It stung, it hurt and he was powerless.
Thescreamsgrewlouder, the faces danced around him in a macabre waltz, the ground beneath him, cold and concrete suddenly vanished and he found himself free falling in terror.
Eyes shooting open, Jungkook sat up with a gasp, clutching to the sheets, his eyes now wide in dismay. Drawing heavy breaths, he reached for his heart, feeling it pounding against his chest as tears blurred his vision.
That nightmare again. It happened every two or three days. Reaching for the bedside table, he grabbed the pills and swallowed the medication prescribed in case of nightmares.
