The helicopter landed on the rooftop of the hospital as the paramedics rushed to get the wounded out of it.

Taehyung was carefully carried onto one of the bed-stretchers and rolled away to the ER, his eyes closed as he struggled to breathe despite the oxygen mask, holding onto Namjoon's hand tightly, his face paler than ever. Jimin jogged after the medics, desperate not to lose his best friend, wiping the tears that kept rolling down his cheeks.

"This one's hurt too."a nurse said, pointing at Jungkook and four men carried him on one of the beds, applying an oxygen mask on his mouth and nose, and calling out to him.

Jin's heart broke when Jungkook remained unresponsive, his eyes in a daze, dry and void of any emotion. The nurse called out his name again, but the young man did not answer, nor did he move an inch, much too lost in his own grief.

Flashes from the raid played before his eyes, Yuri's terrified face as her mother injected the serum, the screams, the shooting, all of it. Then a specific memory pulled him in, replying entirely.

Flashback

"Yuria.."he said, catching her attention as she hummed in response, turning her eyes to him.

"Yes?"

"Are you scared of death?"he asked, knowing the question came out of the blue but it bugged him. Yuri's eyes scanned his face, searching his dark irises as her hand played with his hair, and she smiled. There was a silence, just a few seconds before she shook her head.
