REECE'S POV

"Why are you here, Natasha?"

When I entered the living area, there I saw her sitting on the center table, sipping tea that the maid has offered him.

"Sebastian." She immediately stood up with a smile.

Naglakad ako papalapit sakanya at sinenyas na maupo siyang muli. Umupo ako sa katapat na sofa.

"I heard from your secretary na two days ka ng absent from work." sagot niya sa tanong ko, with her gracious gestures. "It has never happened before so I got worried that's why I decided to pay you a visit."

Marahan akong tumango. "You really don't have to, Natasha. I'm fine. I have to take care of..." Hindi ko nagawang dugtungan ang sinambit ko. I cleared my throat. "I have to take care of.. something."

"Oh really?" Aniya. "Good to hear that, Sebastian." She smiled at me.

"So, is that all why you came here?"

Naghiwalay ang mga labi niya ngunit walang lumabas na salita mula doon. It took a few seconds. "Uhmm.. Actually I.." nag-isip siya ng maaaring isagot. "I have a proposal to the board and will be presenting it soon but I'm not really confident about it so.." tiningnan niya ako at bahagya kong itinaas ang dalawa kilay, waiting for his answer. "If you don't have anything to do can you.. help me, Sebastian?"
she gave me those hopeful stare and puppy eyes which I found not cute.

If Caden does this then maybe-

I'm not really fond of lying so.."Yeah, I can help you."

His face brightened in joy. "Great!" nakangiti niyang saad, tuwang tuwa. "Thank you, Sebastian!"

"Shall we go to the office?" suhestiyon ko at mabilis siyang napatango. Nauna akong tumayo at kaagad siyang sumunod sakin. The main office that I own is located at the groundfloor so we were able to arrive there real quick.

Dumiretso kami ng upo sa pares ng magkatapat na sofa. Sa gitna namin ay kung nasaan ang isang mesa. "Did you bring your proposal?" tanong ko.

"Yeah, here." agaran niyang inabot sakin ang isang folder. I scan it the moment it landed on my hand.

Naging tahimik kami ng ilang minuto hanggang sa biglang bumukas ang pinto. Sabay kami ni Natasha na napalingon doon.

Ang kaninang nakangiting mukha ni Caden ay naging isang busangot nung makita niya ang babae. "Channie, ba't andito si Medusa?" nakangiwing tanong niya.

Medusa?

"Did you just call me Medusa?" hindi makapaniwalang saad ni Natasha na nasa kay Caden ang paningin.

"Oo!" taas noong sambit ni Caden. "Baket? Pangalan mo naman 'yon ah."

Her lips parted in shock. Gusto kong matawa sa uri ng mukha na pinapakita ni Caden ngayon. Nakatayo siya malapit sa pinto. Nakikipaglaban siya ng tingin kay Natasha. He's scaning her head to toe with a disgusted look on his face.
