REECE'S POV

"Meeting dismiss."

I stood up from my seat, my managers bow at me then I'm out of the meeting room.

"Next in schedule?" Tanong ko sa sekretarya habang kasalukuyang naglalakad na papuntang elevator.

"Mr. Roilan from Great Britain had set a special brunch for the both of you, Mr. Buenavista." Monique, my newly hired secretary said.

Well, she's not really that new. When Collux passed a resignation letter to me two years ago, for the reason God knows what, I instantly hired a new one.

But unlike Collux, Monique doesn't know anything about me being 'The Magnus' and the whole mafia. He manages only my schedule as Sebastian Reece Buenavista. It's too early to trust her.

We entered the elevator.
"After the brunch, Mr. Collins invited you to his wedding." Napatigil ako.

Wedding?

"Your suite and shoes are already prepared for yo-"

"Cancel it." sumingit ako.

"S-Sir?" hindi makapaniwalang aniya.

"Decline the invitation. I'm not coming. Tell him, I'm busy." I coldly stated and the elevator once again opened. We reached the groundfloor.

"Okay, sir." she nodded and followed me out of the elevator.

Ang mga empleyado ay nagsitungo ng ulo habang naglalakad ako papuntang pintuan.

Shrek number one and two, the big security guards bowed at me as I step out of the glass door.

Shrek number three opened the door of the car and I immediately hopped in. Shrek number four bowed at me from the driver's seat.

"Let's get moving." and the car engine accelerated.

I was back to square one. Back from being the former Sebastian. Indulged in nothing but work. I am once again drowning myself with all of this meetings and unending schedules.

Like how it used to be before he came.

"Cancel all my schedules after 4 PM, Monique. I have to go somewhere." tumango siya sa inutos ko at nagsimulang gumawa ng phone calls para kanselahin ang mga nakapilang meetings.

ANOTHER day of work has ended. Holding a bouquet of flowers in my hand, I slowly walked towards the highest peak of the bridge. The wind was cold and the sun is about to get drowned by the darkness, painting the skies with the mix of red and orange.

And at the exact location, where he once sat, there I stopped. I laid the bouquet of flowers on top of the railings and stared at the setting sun.

I let out a sigh. "It has been two years, Caden." sambit ko na para bang maririnig niya ako. "I have waited for two years now."
I glanced at the flowers.

Sa loob ng dalawang taon ay hindi ako kailanman tumigil sa paghahanap. Hangga't wala akong nakikitang katawan, hinding hindi ako maniniwalang wala na siya.

Everyone has accepted that he's dead. Everyone has given up. But here I am, still waiting for him and I'm not planning on getting tired.

I know he's alive. Somewhere in this world, I know he's out there. Healing and waiting for the right time to come back to me.
