REECE'S POV

I was sitting beside my Dad in a long table full of unfamiliar old and young faces sitting around, when a married couple suddenly came infront of us.

"Nice to see you here, Sean." I heard the man say as he shook hands with my Dad.

"I'm happy you made it." the woman said with a smile.

"It's been so long since we last seen each other. How's life for the both of you?" Dad asked as both of them sat down.

"We can't really say that we're fine." The experiment is still going on, Sean." hindi ko alam kung anong pinag-uusapan nila ngunit nakinig pa din ako. "We've tried everything and still got no results." agony is to be heard from the man's voice. "Pero hindi pa rin kami nawawalan ng pag-asa. I know we can bring our child back." sagot ng lalake habang may isang malungkot na ngiti.

Napunta naman sakin bigla ang tingin ng babae. "Oh is this little Sebastian?" ang kaninang malungkot niyang awra ay lumiwanag.

Napalingon sakin si Dad saka siya ngumiti. "Yes, Elena."

"Oh my! Ang laki laki mo na, Baby Seb! Last time I saw you, you were still crawling!"

Where does her energy came from?

My eyes widen when he suddenly grabbed my face and squeezed it. "He's so handsome, Sean! and I guess very smart too!"

Pinigilan kong mapadaing sa sakit at ngumiti ng pilit. "HAHAHA! Syempre saan pa ba magmamana kundi saken!" tawa naman ni Dad.

I looked at him and send signals to help me break out of this lady's squeezing hands but instead he just winked at me.

What a good father!

"How fortunate, Sean." ani nung lalake. "Ang mga anak ko nagmana lahat kay Elena."  naiiling niyang sambit sabay simsim sa basong may alak. "Walang kamukha ko kahit man lang isa sa apat."

"HAHAHA hindi yata malakas genes mo, Antonio!" muling tawag ni Dad.

"Wait I'm gonna call my youngest. He's so gonna love you, baby seb!" nakahinga na ako ng maluwag nung binitawan na ng babae ang mga pisngi ko saka naglakad papunta sa kung saan.

In less than a minute, she came back holding a boy, probably younger than I am. "Here!" pinaupo niya ang anak sa katapat na upuan. "Since I don't have any daughters is it okay for you to marry my son, little Sebastian?"

I was in a shock. A terrible one.

"Mom!" the boy protested. His brows are knitting and is pouting his lips. "I thought I was gonna mawwy (marry)  the Mancuso one? Why are you changing my pyushu (future) husband again!" then I heard both of our fathers laugh in the background

I gulped. Hard.

Is he really okay about marrying a boy too? Is the son as crazy as her mother?!

"Change of plans, baby moo. Little Sebastian is far more handsome. Look at him anak oh!" she pointed his lips at me and his son turned his head towards my direksyon. Ang kaninang magkadikit niyang mga kilay ay mas lumala. He looked at me from head to toe and all I did was to blink. "See? He'll be a great husband to you."
