CHAPTER 39: Assembly

CALVINO'S POV

Alas kwatro ng umaga ay ginising ako ng diwa ko. Nakayakap sakin ang katawan ni Lazaro. Itiningala ko ang mukha niya.

He was peacefully sleeping. It's as if he didn't have a stressful day in their clan. Mancuso has been facing problems from all sides but no matter how tired he is, he still opens his arms to me with the sweetest smile he could ever show.

I removed the strands of hair that was covering his face. As I stare into him, I remembered the day that we got married.

I was 16 and it was an arranged marriage. We both agreed to it not because we like each other but to save him, his family and the whole Mancuso clan. Feelings was never part of the picture. Our relationship was pretty casual for the next months.

I don't really know what happened but one day came and I just found myself falling for him. One thing led to another and here we are. We've been through a lot, he has sacrificed everything for our love.

Lazaro is very kind. He's gentle and loving. He is everyone's dream guy and I'm very fortunate to be loved and cherished by someone like him.

My twin, who happened to be inlove with the leader of Magnus Empire, Sebastian Reece, is the unfortunate one. He married someone toxic and selfish. Due to his wrong choice of falling in love, here he is, stuck inside an endless cage, trapped in my being and is  shattering in pieces.

And what happened to him has brought me hell too. That's why I can never stand still.

Hindi pwedeng wala akong gawin. Alam kong may binitawang salita si Lazaro sakaniya. Hiniling na sana'y sa oras ng pag idlip niya ay walang mananakit sa Buenavista'ng 'yon ngunit patawarin niya sana ako, hindi ko kaya ang ganito.

Wala naman sa plano kong kitilan siya ng buhay dahil alam kong ako ang kikitilan ni Caden pag nagkataon. Gusto ko lang magdusa siya. Sa mabagal at napakasakit na paraan na hihilingin niya nalang na hindi na mabuhay pa.

Even if don't want to go out of my husband's embrace, I know I have to. I need to start my plan especially now that they're inside our territory. This will make everything easier.

After taking a shower, I put on Caden's favorite pajamas, the ones with a pink pig he calls peppa pig. I messed up my hair and then looked at my reflection on the mirror.

Napatitig ako sa taong nasa salamin. Kung hindi lang sa kulay asul kong mga mata ay talagang si Caden ang makikita ko. Kinuha ko ang dalawang contact lenses na nasa mesa at nilagay 'yon sa mga mata ko. Ang mala tsokolate nitong kulay ay natatakpan ang nakatagao kong asul na karagatan.

Inalis ko ang talinis ng mga tingin at ngumiti. "Channie.." sambit ko gamit ang tono at uri ng pananalita  ni Caden. "Maghanda ka na po.." ngumisi ako. "Gagawin kong impyerno ang buhay mo, asawa ko.."

REECE'S POV

Halos isang linggo na simula nung dumating kami dito sa Italya.
Dalawang araw na ang lumipas simula nung muli kong makita si Caden. Sa loob ng mga araw na 'yon ay hindi ko nagagawang umidlip. Gayundin ang dalawa ko pang kasama. Naghahanap ng mga impormasyong makatutulong samin.

What's making all of us worried right now is the fact that Collux or should I say Primo Altamura knows all of our identity. Once he revealed that the leader of Magnus Empire and Maximus Buenavista's third heir is the same person, it will be over for me and my family.

Buong pamilya ko ang magiging apektado.

Everyone in the Buenavista family has been facing a lot of danger already, I don't wanna make it even worse.
