AMELIAS POV
I opened my eyes and saw Owen laying down next to me.
"Shit," I said quietly. I don't even remember falling asleep last night. I remember Ryan calling again after I declined his call and getting upset. I don't know why Owen was still here. I got up quickly and grabbed my phone.
"Hey," Owen said and looked at me.
"What are you doing here?" I looked at him. Did something happen and I don't remember?
"You were crying a lot and I felt bad leaving you," he said.
"Oh good," I said.
"Something about a Ryan?" He said.
"I don't need to relive it," I said, "and I'm sorry you had to see that."
"It's okay," he said, "you're hurting you need people."
"Thank you for coming over but I am okay on my own," I said.
"Amelia," he said.
"Actually I do have to get going to work," I said.
"Yeah," he said, "yeah me too."

DEREKS POV
"Is your sister okay?" April looked at me as I sat down at lunch with Meredith.
"Why?" I asked.
"I don't know. Every time I work with her she seems distant or distracted," April said, "she seems sad."
"She just got divorced," Meredith said.
"We're not supposed to tell everyone that," I said to her.
"What? It's not a big secret," Meredith looked at me.
"She doesn't want to talk about the divorce," I told April.
"Okay," April said. Amelia came into the cafeteria and surprisingly sat down next to me.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi," she said.
"How's your day?" I asked.
"Good," she shrugged. Her phone buzzed and I saw it was Ryan calling.
"I thought he wasn't supposed to call you," I said.
"He forgets that he isn't supposed to," Amelia said quietly.
"Forgets?" I looked at her.
"He's still," she trailed off, hinting at the fact that Ryan was still using drugs.
"Okay," I said. I hated that Ryan hurt her. She loved him more than anything, and they had been through everything. They lost a baby together. They got sober together. He was supposed to protect her, and I hated that he hurt her.
"You guys will never just believe what I saw," Arizona said as she sat down.
"What?" Meredith said.
"Someone had an axe stuck in their forehead! It was so insane almost like a movie," Arizona said. Amelia and I looked at each other and immediately got up and sprinted down to the pit. She looked excited for the case. It was the first time I had seen her happy in a while.

AMELIAS POV
I scrubbed out of surgery and I saw Owen.
"Hey," I said softly.
"Hey," he said.
"Uh what are you doing tonight?" I asked him.
"Nothing," he said, "Wanna do something?"
"Sure," I said.
"Why don't I take you on a drive around Seattle?" He offered.
"Okay," I smiled, "sure." We got ready to leave work and I met him at his car. I sat down in the passenger seat and looked out the window.
"Seattle different from LA?" He asked me.
"Yeah," I said, "and there's no beach."
"Well there's the space needle," he said.
"Not the same," I chuckled.
"You seemed happy at work today," he said.
"Yeah," I shrugged, "it was a good day."
"That's good," he said. We drove around some side streets for a while as it started to get dark out. Owen parked the car by the water as the sun went down.
"How long have you lived here?" I asked him.
"I grew up here," he said.
"That's nice," I said.
"Yeah," he said.
"Can I tell you something?" I asked as I looked over at him. I could tell her could sense my seriousness because his face changed.
"Yes of course," he said.
"I miss my husband," I said as I looked down at my hands, "but I had to leave him."
"You're separated?" He asked.
"Technically divorced," I said, "I miss him a lot."
"I'm sorry," he said, "is that Ryan?" I nodded as I looked at him.
"I don't know how to cope in a healthy way," I sighed.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"If I tell you, you can't tell anyone," I said.
