Jacks POV

"Why do you want me to forgive you so badly? I'm not special or anything." Julia said, a little sadly.

"I want you to forgive me because I want us to be friends," or more than friends, I thought in my head, "I want to be friends because I want to see what kind of person you are, I took away your confidence, so... I wanna bring it back. See who you really are." I said.

She didn't say anything, yet, she was still looking at me.

I gave her a small smile and then started to walk away.

"Wait." She called.

"Yeah?"

"This is your room... So, you can sleep in here. I can just sleep in the guest room, I don't mind." She said getting off my bed.

"No, no. It's okay. The guest room's heater broke so it's really cold in there. You should stay in here." I said, putting my hand up to stop her.

"Then you'll be cold." She said, worriedly and nicely.

I chuckled, "I'll be fine." I said.

"No, you can sleep on your bed. I'll sleep on the ground. No arguing," she said grabbing one of my pillows and putting it on the floor, "now go to sleep." She said, grabbing my blanket.

I laughed lightly, "Hey, I can't sleep without my blanket." I said raising my eyebrows.

"Too bad. I like this blanket. Get a different one." Julia said, keeping her eyes closed the whole time she was talking.

"Too bad, it's my blanket. You either give me my blanket and sleep on the ground, cold, or you sleep on my bed." I said.

"But your sleeping on your bed."

"I know. It's a big bed, we can both sleep on it. We won't even touch each other."

"Umm...ok." She said, shyly, getting up so she can lay on the bed.

I got on the bed and moved all the way to the other side, so, we don't touch each other.

Once I got on the bed, we kept quiet. We weren't facing the same way and about 5-10 minutes later, it was dead silent.

I think she's sleeping.

I turned over to see if she was awake or not. I looked at her and she was faced towards me, sound asleep.

I smiled. She looks so cute when she sleeps. Her legs moved under the blanket and I thought I woke her up. I kept looking at her to make sure she was still asleep, which she was.

I turned back around to look at the wall and then in a couple of minutes. I was asleep too.

----------------

I woke up with my arm around someone.

What the heck?

I looked at the girl and it was Julia.

Oh yeah. I forgot that she slept over.

I got my arm off of her and leaned over to get off the bed, quietly, trying not to wake her. I looked at the time and it was 10 am. Wow we slept a lot.

I walked down stairs to make myself a bowl of cereal.

I walked in my kitchen and then turned on the light. "Aghh!" I screamed, when I saw someone standing in my kitchen.

It was just Johnson. "Dude, you scared the hell out of me." I said, walking to the ice box to get milk.

Johnson laughed, "Sorry, but that was so funny." He said, dying of laughter.

I rolled my eyes and made my bowl of cereal. I looked up from my bowl to talk.

"So, why are you here and how'd you get in my house?" I asked.

"I was done cleaning my house after the party and got bored. I was gonna wake you but ya know..." He raised his eyebrows twice, referring to Julia in my bed.

"Nothing happened. I just didn't want her to sleep in your house with a bunch of drunks so I brought her here." I said.

"Oh." Is all he said.

"Yep, and you didn't answer my other question. How'd you get in here?"

"Your door was unlocked. Idiot." Johnson said, spinning the basketball around on his pointer finger.

"So you wanna go shoot some hoops?" He asked.

"No, I don't wanna wake up Julia."

"Aww. You're no fun."

Once I was done eating my cereal, I went back upstairs to see if Julia was awake yet.

When I walked up I saw her grabbing her clothes and about to walk to the bathroom. "Oh. Uh. Hey." She said.

"Hey. Why are you changing?"

"Because I think I should head home before my dad kills me. He probably knows I'm not at Hannah's."

"Oh ok." I said, nodding my head.

She walked to the bathroom and changed into her clothes. Once she got out, she walked towards me and gave me back my shirt. "Thanks. For letting me sleep here. I should go but I'll see you on Monday." She said, walking halfway down the stairs and looking back to smile at me.

"See ya." I said.

"Hey Julia!" Johnson yelled.

"Hey Johnson, great party by the way. See ya at school."

"Thanks. Bye!" He said.

And she walked out the door.
