The next day, there wasn't a lot left to investigate, just a few associates that information could be obtained from easily. However, once Aster got to his last paper, there was something peculiar about the member in question. Seeming fitting all the traits that were eluded to about the traitor, there was a man with warm toned hair undercut at the bottom, and the rest tied into a ponytail.
Aster showed the document to Edward, it seemed the man was very much a fan of poetry, appreciating works of most genres, whether that be religious, romantic or horror. "Lucius Bell, now that's very suspicious indeed. None of my documents seemed to fit everything we had in mind, but this man appears to be digging his own grave.", remarked the boss.
"Let's not jump to conclusions.", said Aster. "It could be an alias for all we know. People used them all the time back in my old world to get away with serious monstrosities. It's probably best that we discuss this with Rou and Fleur first.", he pondered.
Edward ring the bell from his office, alerting the caporegime to be by his side. In what seemed like an instant, Rou and Fleur were rushing to the door. "Y-you called sir?", muttered Fleur. "Take a look at what the intruder discovered", Edward declared. Rou and Fleur peered at the paper and both looked back up in shock.
"Lucius Bell? I think I recognize him from somewhere, I just can't put my finger on it. Whether I know him or not,we definitely need to analyse him further.", said Rou, intrigued by what he saw. "Though I mostly agree with what you guys are saying, did you ever stop to think that there's a group of traitors? Rou and I did uncover some pretty suspicious documents yesterday.", Fleur replied.
Rou and Fleur put their papers down on the table, showing the data of a man and a woman by the names of Curtis Nym and Kaira Porter. "We can assume these names are aliases too. What do you think this alludes to?", Aster asked. "We can assume that Lucius Bell is the leader of the group as he fits the poetry description the runt mentioned earlier.", Edward concluded.
"I think I agree. However, if there are multiple traitors, I believe that both people from Fleur and I's work could be suspects.", Rou explained. "You're forgetting there could be a chance that all three could be teamed up, if that's the case we may need both combat squads working together. My ability might be able to rat them out if it works, though I doubt it will.", said Fleur, adding onto Rou and Edward's conclusion.
"I think it's settled then, both combat squads will track down all 3 of these suspects and bring them back to the mansion, restrained if need be. If one or more of them is messing with the syndicate, we will have them killed.", Edward announced clearly.
"I will assist you too, I can easily get them to talk, more so than Fleur's ability in fact, but we'll need her too as we'll be split up for the most part.", the tall vampire took 2 plain sheets of paper and wrote a note on both, passing them to Rou and Fleur. "Sir Edward joining the fray? This is rare. I guess if he's going, I will try my hardest to do my best work!", thought Fleur.
"This fight has just begun, we will find the flaw in the scripture.", said Rou, ready for any action he needed to do. "You're right Rou, let's go into this with confidence. This is yet another opportunity to prove my loyalty." , thought Aster as he followed along with them. The time to prepare for another battle was nigh.
