While all the hope was on Aster, Fleur and Craaq saving Rou swiftly, there were more than enough shenanigans going on inside the mansion. Demitris in particular was extremely stressed after 2 days of Rou's incredibly difficult job and had gone into Edward's office for advice. "Enter.", the boss uttered as the auburn haired boy entered the room. "I-I've come for advice, sir. Please don't be alarmed...", Demitris mumbled.

"If I'm honest, it was a rash decision temporarily promoting you, Demitris.", Edward stated bluntly. Demitris wasn't surprised, Rou was seemingly irreplaceable and he couldn't see anyone else in the job. "I've tried my hardest to keep the regime afloat, but I can never be Rou. The soldiers know it too, I'm just trying too hard to be something I'm not...". Edward understood, no one could have expected what was to happen that day.

"Walk with me.", the tall boss insisted. The two males took a stroll through the mansion halls and into the garden. The vast sky was luminated with vibrant shades of pink and orange in the beautiful dusk. Demitris cleared his throat, "Hear me out, I'm flattered that Rou thought I'd be the best replacement to the point of putting me on that list, but I didn't know how stressful it would be until I tried it. I've recently had to live with the fact that I'll never see in my right eye again, and to have to take on one of the most important jobs in the syndicate as caporegime of combat; it's unbearable..."

Edward knew just the thing to tell his subordinate, "Young Rou was just like you during his first days on the job, though not promoted under such circumstances as yourself, he was surprised by the stress. You see, he very much looked up to my adoptive daughter, Fleur, admired her more than anything. Just like you, he'd come to my office to chat regularly about the hardships of the job.". Demitris was intrigued, "So what advice did you give to Rou?", he enquired with curiosity.

"It told him to do the job acting like himself rather than someone else. He progressed from there and became the capo we know today.", informed Edward. Demitris however was concerned, considering how Rou ended up in the end, "Maybe that might have been the wrong advice to give, it gave rise to Rou putting up a front and running away!", declared the newly promoted capo. "I see...", muttered Edward, searching his head for another idea.

"We've never had this situation before in the 15 years I've run this place. I've always been by the book of my ancestors, all they told me to do was bring in as much revenue as possible. Yes, it's the perfect model for a crime syndicate, but this organisation is more than that. I want to do something about it, but my mind has never crossed an effective way to build the haven of equality I've always wanted.". Demitris sighed, he had been let down again, but he kept at it, brainstorming what he could do to help.

"If you're so out of touch with what's going on, I'll show you!", he declares. "And how would you plan on doing that?", ponders a confused Edward. "You can observe me. I'll give you one hour to really show you what a shambles everyone is in, maybe then you'll have a good course of action.", explained Demitris. "I see why Rou put you at the top of his list...", commented Edward. He continued, "You have the same flair as him, you were just put in his shoes too early."

Demitris smiled at his boss, "I'm glad you see the good in him, sir.". "I'm intrigued to observe how you run things, and I want what you've been doing to make this organisation run as smooth as it can in Rou's absence. I hope I can help you eventually. ", Edward ended his quick chat and Demitris was satisfied with the result . "I'll report back to my squad, I can guarantee they're still in a ruckus.".

Demitris headed back into room 114, where the squad that was temporarily his waited. "I have some hopeful news, Edward will be observing our training tomorrow, I hope he can be of assistance to us in these trying times.", he declared. Leon breathed a breath of relief, "I feel for you Demitris, Rou's are big shoes to fill. Thank you for going to the boss for assistance, you've earned my respects.", the green haired man bowed.

Things were looking slightly more positive for Demitris, though it wasn't nearly enough to fill the hole in his heart left by Rou's disappearance. He closed his eyes and hoped that Aster, Fleur and Craaq were going to bring him back safely. They had to, of else the boy wouldn't know how to live again. As the day finally ended, he dismissed the regime and headed to his dorm.
