Chapter 8: Another intruder?

Fleur's eyes widened as Viper walked in screaming. She stood up in annoyance. "Viper, can you not see we have a very important fight happening so we can kick this brat out!? Let's go into the room next door and deal with this runt, please do not waste Sir Edward's time on common folk!!" The short girl yelled, her face a bright red.

"Then why is it happening here, in my room? Could you guys have used other arenas? Also, don't tell me what to do." She looks Shiva up and down. "Fine. He has very little power, even you could defeat him in a fight"

"Wow. This place is crazier then what I thought it was going to be." Shiva said as he scratched his back. His eyes stared at the girls as they dragged him out of the fighting arena. "Wait where are we going?!"

Fleur didn't like Viper's attitude."No offence- but I am a higher rank than some mansion witch! I am within every right to tell you what to do. Now move along!" Fleur gently took Shiva hand dragging him out the room. "COME ON VIPER YOUR BEHAVIOUR IS SHAMEFUL!" she looked up at the boy tilting his head. "Why are you here? This is private property!" the small girl squeaked trying to take her mind of the annoyance of Aster.

Shiva laughed. He watched the girls very closely as their faces grew madder. "I heard rumours about a witch, so which of you is it?"

"I will only listen to people who can actually put up a good fight against me." She looks at Shiva and then goes and whispers to Fleur "I've got some truth serum. If you want we can use it or I could torture him." In a mocking tone Viper adds "It's completely up to your your majesty"

Fleur watched the pair of them closely with a slight frown. She felt small, both of them were obviously taller than her..she hated i.t "Right. I can take you down if I so wished, I wish people would not assume I am weak!" she stomped her foot in frustration then furrowed her brows. "You are both an annoyance to me right now. I'm supposed to be watching that boy fight, yet here we are!" she rolled her eyes sarcastically at the pair then nodded. "I would like to use that truth serum as my mind reading is rusty." The young man was clearly older than Fleur, fear filled her eyes, as well as a mild rage. "Please s-sit! Sit!!" she said, flustered and pointing to a seat as if he were a puppy.

"Hahah, so scared you were stuttering! Also, I'm not assuming I know" Viper turns to Shiva and as she shoves the vial of truth surum into his hand "Drink this, I don't have all day. Got... cleaning in a bit. And if you don't..." she adds in a maniacal laugh "I will use torture and no one can stop me!"

"Drink this? If it lets me talk to the witch then yes." Shiva drinks all of the vials. He looked up at Viper and handed her the empty vial. "Can I meet the witch now? I have some questions."

Viper looked at Shiva as if she had the advantage "Hahaha you came here not knowing what the Witch looks like. You're looking at her in all her glory!"

Meanwhile, Edward refilled his wine glass, continuing to watch on at the fight. He felt slightly tense- seeing the damage caused to both parties. Maybe he should....

He wouldn't step in just yet.

Fleur was getting genuinely hurt by everyone's words. Did they really all think she was just some weak person with no drive, always scared? Her heart sunk in realisation, and upset, her eyes had small tears in the corners of them. Today was overwhelming for her. She had no real friends. She wiped her eyes stubbornly keeping a blank expression. "I am not weak! Shut your mouth you old hag!" she snapped, looking at Shiva. This is the witch you dumbass! What is your obsession? she said, hands on her hips. Her breathing had become heavy and frantic under all the pressure.

Shiva blinked in surprise. Thought for a second and then let out a laugh. "Wow I thought that it was going to be a while until I got to meet you, oh well." He looked over at the second girl. "Who are you calling me a dumbass? Wait, who are you again?"

"Oh come on Fleur I'm only messing, stop getting your knickers in a twist! And who wouldn't be obsessed with me?" Viper turns to look at Shiva, "Just tell us how you got in and why you want to see me. I'm not in a good mood today, year old experiments are getting ruined by a petty fight!" As Viper says the last sentence, she turns to fleur and gives her the death glare.

Fleur went red in embarrassment and humiliation as she clenched her chest. Looking at her feet instantly, this reminded her too much of her childhood. It really hit hard "I-I... just.." she stuttered, tears rolling down her cheeks. This was too intimidating. She took a deep breath looking at Shiva with watery eyes "I..I'm Fleur. Thats all you need to FUCKING- know." She snapped at him, holding her ground then turned to Viper. "Now I can have your position taken away at the click of my fingers. Don't act as if you are above me- I expect you to investigate this boy Viper." she said, professionally walking out the room and leaning against the door, her breathing frantic as she screwed her eyes shut.

"Do as you wish, just don't cry too loud. I don't wanna hear you mope. Now answer my question... otherwise I WILL get violent" Viper slowly looked away from Fleur as she got further away from her.

"I got here by walking I guess? I can get into a place at any time." Shiva yawned. "I just wanted to meet a witch and ask if you teach me some magic, happy to serve you." Shiva bowed to the witch. "I didn't want to start a fight or anything, no need to get violent."

"Ooohhh sweety. If u wanted to learn from me then there are 2 major things you need to know. Number one, violence is my middle name and I don't care who it is... also ready to avada kedavra people. Number 2, don't get sassy with me" Viper kicks Shiva down so Viper is looking over him "And I don't teach ANYONE!"

Fleur ran back out to the battle room sitting next to Edward crying softly and rubbing her eyes in frustration looking up at him. "I want wine too." She stated, frowning and looking out as the two males fought glaring at Aster he thought she was weak too. She'd show them all.. she thought clenching her fists.

Shiva stood up and rubbed the back of his head. He watched as Viper tried knocking him over again. "So witch, I was thinking for our first lesson would I have to come back tomorrow? Or just stay here and get heated up by you? Either one works for me." He smiled at the young witch and sat back down on the ground.

"I'm not teaching you shit" Viper gets out her wand and chains Shiva up. Just stay quiet."When Edward is finished he can say what is going to happen to you. "

Edward then lost his focus on the battle and directed it toward Fleur. "Fleur, dear, what's wrong?" It was out of genuine concern but it could easily be mistaken as patronising.

Fleur looked at her knees shaking her head "There is an intruder again! So I went to check it out and they both insulted me and called me weak a-and Viper yelled at me! So I had t-to get out!" she rambled not being able to read Edward very well she furrowed her brows. "I can't even do my job without getting laughed at!"

"Awe, is that so? I'll have to have a word with those people then," Edward grumbled before lightening up his tone. "Don't worry, Fleur. You're a valuable asset to the Okamura family. You're skilled and no doubt will that talent grow if you train more."

She nodded, sniffing sadly as he reassured her. Fleur's eyes lit up as Edward praised in the end, his opinion was the only one that mattered to her. Nobody else. She sat up nodding her eyes focused on the fight again. "That boy, Aster. I don't like him, he makes me nervous and feel as if i have wasted some of my life..he makes things complicated so please sir, don't let him win even if we have to..." she lowered her voice "Cheat. We have to win."

"Of course," A thin smile spread across Edward's lips. "That irritating pest deserves to be taught a lesson, at the very least."
