Lin and Aster looked towards the downed Demitris as they witnessed Fleur aiming her sword at Curtis, complet, a smile graced Lin's face. "Seems the lover boy is out of commission, great job Curtis!", he reveled as the auburn haired boy screamed in agony. Fleur grew more frustrated, "You will pay for this!!!", she called out. Curtis dropped the bow and drew his sword once again, defending against the provoked elf girl. The two begin clashing their swords, "I'll take this one.", signalled Curtis to Lin.

"All three of you have it all wrong!", Fleur continued to rant. "I've lived here all my life and never have I seen anyone killed without a perfectly valid reason!", she swung her sword and jabbed Curtis in the arm. The blood squirted out, it could make anyone witnessing it sick. Craaq hid behind Fleur, who was barely phased by the awdeal, "Are we going to finish this or not?", she threatened. Despite his injury Curtis kept fighting, "I proclaim this a fight to the death, if any of you plan to join them, feel free.", announced Lin.

Aster was pissed off at the notion of Fleur being dragged into this, "You were always going to kill us anyway, what's the point in announcing it?!", he questioned his opponent. "Just a little extra motivation, I'm sure you understand...", remarked Lin. "I certainly don't! If you're playing it that way, then I announce our fight is to the death as well!", declared Aster. Lin chortled with pity, "As you wish, but prepare to die, intruder!".

Demitris hobbled up to Aster, "Hey, you don't have to do this, all this happened because I got an arrow in my eye.", he muttered. Aster looked at Demitris and smiled, "That's exactly why this needs to be done, it was unfair of them to do that, so I'm gonna fight for you! Go to the infirmary, you need to rest.". Demitris was unsure. Why were they fighting for him instead of Rou? He approached Aster once more, "I'll leave, just remember to fight for Rou as well...", he informed. "I promise", answered Aster.

Demitris ran out of the room, evading any kind of attack on his way out whilst still keeping the arrow still in his retina. Meanwhile, Rou remained in the broom closet wallowing over his decisions. "I should just leave this place, no one here's trustworthy anymore...", he thought, still crying his eyes out. "I'm done putting up a front...", his mind tells him. The only reason he had one in the first place was because of his job. But it made him wonder, did people like him, or just the confident facade he created?

After 5 minutes of silence, Rou finally heard voices coming from outside the broom closet. He peered through the rotting wooden door and noticed that some of the Renegard syndicate members from the auction still hadn't left. He was surprised to see them heading closer and closer to where he was situated. One member was telling the others about how a fight broke out in the main hall and that Vox forced everyone to evacuate. "I can't believe they took such drastic measures for my sake.", thought Rou.

One of the Renegards eventually opened the creaky door, Rou felt a sigh of relief in this endless pool of tears, but that was short lived. Within seconds of the door opening, Rou was blindfolded and dragged outside the mansion. He didn't know what the hell was going on and was too unstable to fight it. With everyone in the battle, he expected no one to catch up to him. He did however hear Edward's voice calling out to him, running to catch up with them, bolting towards the scum, but to no avail, the Renegard members were fast and young, and they took Rou away.

In the main hall, things weren't much better, with Demitris out of commission, only 4 syndicate members were able to fight, and Aster and Fleur in particular were in a very tight predicament. In Aster's case, burning flames on both sides that he's well aware could harm him. In Fleur's, a fight to the death while she's still just a novice swordsman. Fleur and Curtis were both battered and bruised by this point, not to mention the fact that a bloody gash on Curtis's leg was the only thing keeping Fleur in the fight. There were no further leads to give them an advantage, no more deals, they just needed to go for it.

Fleur jabbed Curtis where his wound was, causing him to howl in pain. Viper signalled to Fleur she was going to chain him up. Fleur was in no mood for a fair fight so allowed Viper to capture him, she attached the chain to her sword and swung Curtis across the room. He landed head first into the hard marble floor, breaking his skull. Fleur rushed to assist Curtis, but Viper stopped her "This was a fight to the death, and you've won.", she states bluntly.

Fleur began to cry because it was the first time she had directly killed someone, Craaq left his fight with Kiara and rushed to her side to comfort her. "He chose this path, it's his fault that it lead to his death.", he remarks. Fleur goes in for an embrace, but was interrupted by the slamming of the door. At the entrance of the main hall was a distressed Edward holding a blue cravat. By the boss's expression, his subordinates could guess the subject of the situation.

"Wait, doesn't that belong to-?", Fleur enquired. Aster immediately became concerned, "Is Rou okay?". Upon hearing his brother's name, Lin rushed over to Edward and pinned him to the wall, "Where is he?! I'll kill him!". Though distraught, Edward still overpowered him, switching places with Lin, he looked the fiery red haired man in his amber eyes. His own eyes glowed purple, "You will not continue this fight.", he ordered, which caused Lin to run out of the room, Kiara followed after him.

"What was that for?", Aster questioned Edward. "We have a new priority.", he informed. "Does it explain the cravat?", pondered Viper. Edward nodded, "Yes, it's some dreadful news too. Rou has been abducted by the Renegard syndicate. We've had to cancel the third night of the auction because of this revelation. ". The boss's four subordinates stared at him in disbelief. Finally, Aster spoke, "If that's the case, we have to tell Demitris, and don't give any excuses this time!", he contended . "Vox is informing him right now.", Edward added.

A new quest was dawning on the syndicate. With the anti-crime group off their trail for a while, they needed to focus on returning their capo. The main cogs of the organisation were beginning to crumble, and with one now missing, it was sure to fall apart if no one did anything. How will Demitris react when he finds out? That was something to be awaited as everything was now unknown to the whole crime family.
