2 days had passed since Aster received the message from Demitris and he was still in the infirmary mad at the prospect of a uniform. He had only worn his regular clothes in the mansion and necessary armour during assassinations that involved a fight. No one told him of these events during his initiation process and it seemed like they did that on purpose, but still, rules were rules.

There was a knock on the door, which Aster answered, Viper had arrived to give him his treatment. "How you doing today? Ready for the meeting?", she asked in a more polite tone than what everyone else was used to. "You sound calm, Viper.", Aster remarked. "I'm only calm because these meetings are the only chance us capos get to have stuff changed in this awful syndicate.", she replied.

"I see.", Aster stated as Viper gave him his final shot. The blisters were practically invisible and walking was almost as easy as it was before. "You're free to leave if you feel you're ready, it'll take 20 minutes for the potion to set in, but you're good as new.", Viper explained with relief. After a week long break from her projects, she was finally able to start up again. "Thanks Viper.", Aster exclaimed with a smile. He strided out of the infirmary and back to his quarters, his recovery was finally over.

The black haired boy returned to his dorm to find a uniform on his bed. It was a long, blue collared jacket with the syndicate emblem embroidered on the back and a white shirt that had a cravat. The trousers weren't dissimilar to the ones Rou wore every day, he could tell this meeting was important, possibly with an acclaimed guest. He stripped off and put on the uniform, at least the Okumuras cared enough to get his measurements right.

As he left his room, Aster encountered Demitris, Ophelia and Selina wearing the exact same clothes as him. "Hah! Don't we look dapper!", he declares jokingly. "Surprisingly this isn't the worst thing soldiers get forced to wear.", Demitris informs Aster. Ophelia and Selina take the auburn haired boy by the hand to make him walk quicker. "We haven't had a meeting in 2 months, the organisation's been pretty boring other than you dropping in, Aster.", Selina reflected before they reached the door to the meeting room.

Waiting by the door, Rou waved at his soldiers. "Glad you four could make it on time, Edward would've had my head if you didn't.", he chuckled. "Fleur, Craaq and Viper are already inside, it takes a while for the high ranking members to be bothered to show up.", Rou stated bluntly. He opened the door and showed them to their seats, the table was set out meticulously, with paper and quill for everyone. Aster could believe that Edward had spent all night planning this.

Sitting opposite them on the table were Fleur and Craaq. Craaq was in the same uniform as Rou's regime, but in red. He still wore his pig helmet, even in this formal attire. "Doesn't he ever take it off?!", Viper shouted from across the table at Fleur. Fleur glanced at Craaq, who was curled in a ball of anxiety on his chair next to hers. "I hope it's allowed...", he muttered. "Don't worry Craaq, Sir Edward will definitely let you if I convince him.", reassured Fleur.

"I still think it's suspicious that he never shows his face, what if he's the one that summoned the intruder?!", Viper shouted at the elf girl. "Please leave my squad alone, it's not worth fighting if you only have words to say and not actions.", Fleur responded, irritated by Viper's snide comment.

"Woah there! We don't want arguments before the meeting's begun!", said Rou, cutting in on the two females. They both stared at him in disgust, Rou could see they were ready with clear opinions and felt intimidated by their passion. However, he believed that it was better to save them for after the meeting had begun.

"I understand that both of you are determined to get your point across, but the debate is meant for after the others have arrived. Besides, shouldn't Craaq be involved in this conversation since you were discussing his pig helmet?", Rou pondered. "And this is why I avoid you, Rou Okumura. A woman can debate for herself, she doesn't need you to clarify things!", Viper announces to the room, heavily embarrassing Rou in the process.

"Now look what you've done...", uttered Fleur, desperately trying to keep her cool. Craaq at this point was huddled in a corner, ashamed that he started this mess in the first place. But before their argument could get any worse, Edward entered the room alongside Vox and Catoria. "Now calm down children!", he declared. The capos and soldiers looked up at the boss. The meeting was about to begin.

(The song has changed again in this chapter. At the time I'm writing this, I'm planning to keep this song as the opening until around the 90 chapter mark.)
