Rou stood fiercely, staring at his opponents, "A two against one fight? It's hardly fair, but I'll be sure to take both of you down!", he declared, creating yet another small glacier of ice. Subsequently, he raised the dagger he had taken from Aster and began to swing it at Fleur, leaving a scratch on her right cheek. Their former bond didn't matter to him, all that was on his mind was death, his eyes glowing for it. Aster wasn't going to let that happen, he charged at Rou using Craaq's sword, defending both himself and Fleur.

Fleur was in a panic, he was closing in on her and cutting her face. In fear, Fleur looked down at her wounds, slowly getting the blood off of them. It wasn't the worst of wounds, but it still wasn't good for her. In the middle of her distraction, Fleur had failed to notice that Rou was being cornered by Aster. Was this going to be the end of the fight? Or was Aster going to make a dangerous mistake?

Aster lifted his blade and began to swing it, slashing Rou across the chest, "ROU!", shouted Aster, throwing his arms out in desperation. Rou quickly dodged the attack, slashing Aster in the leg with an icicle in retaliation. "Aster, we need to stop this! We can't let him faint on us!", screamed Fleur, as she realised the situation . Of course she had, she would not allow Rou to get another chance to attack her, nor would she attack him without reason

"Foolish girl, I'm going to teach you a lesson!", roared Rou as he ran toward Fleur upon realising her plan. To his surprise, Fleur didn't retaliate, merely dodging his attack. Concerned for Fleur, Aster got up, no doubt shocked at what the elf girl did, but decided to fight on despite the damage to his leg. He was ready to corner Rou once more, protecting Fleur in the process. In his mind it was his fault she had to help him in the first place and he really didn't want her to sustain any more damage.

Immediately after, Aster's mind was overcome by the pain in his leg and he collapsed to the ground, watching helplessly as Rou continued to try and overcome Fleur. "Stop! Just stop! You're betraying your own beliefs!", yelled the black haired boy, hoping Rou would finally hear him. Fortunately, he did, and began to back away. "Was he returning to his senses? Or was an outside force at play?", thought Aster. All three fighters were gravely injured and could barely hold thier own, but as the fight was presumably coming to a close, the mansion gates swung open, and a figure stepped into the dim light of the courtyard.

"Aster!" hollered Fleur, shocked at the sudden appearance. Before she had any time to think, Aster had his sword raised high above his head, ready to face the attacker. He couldn't feel his leg at all, but dragged it along anyway. "Aaah!", screamed Aster, holding the blade up to the entity. "Time to end the injustice of the frozen hearted!", the unknown figure declared. The smoke cleared, revealing Demitris standing confidently, destruction eminating in his hands. Aster swifty dropped the sword, facepalming at his own mistake.

But as Demitris looked on at the situation, his face changed, ice everywhere, Aster, Fleur and Rou clearly injured, and Craaq and Sulena locked in the mini glaciers. From his deduction, there was clearly a fight going on. "Why are you fighting each other?! I thought we were all comrades!", he questioned worriedly. "It's not what it looks like...", murmured Fleur, who was beginning to pass out on the floor.

"So if it wasn't Aster and wasn't Fleur that started this...", he turned to Rou, clearly disheveled and took him by the chin. "Demitris...", he growled. Rou tried to grab the auburn haired man's face, but Demitris didn't let go, he couldn't, he needed to put things right. "You seem...so different, why would you do something like this? I know why, it's the auction isn't it...", Demitris cried. He continued to explain himself, "Leading Lin to the auction hall was my only option, he's too powerful to face alone, and all of my actions were to protect you..."

Rou's once glowing green eyes returned to their normal hue, "Demitris...Demitris I'm so sorry!", the blue haired man pulled Demitris into an embrace, Aster, Fleur, Craaq and Sulena were left shocked by how easily he could resolve it. "We were sure Rou was being controlled, how did you?", Aster asked in shock. "The woman I met outside wasn't letting me in, so I knocked her out with the nearest weapon I could find.", answered Demitris.

"M-m-m...", Rou began to stutter, but what he was trying to say was inaudible. "I think he needs to go home.", remarked Craaq. Demitris unsheathed his sword and broke Craaq and Sulena out of the ice, and both of them carried Aster and Fleur into the carriage Demitris had arrived in while Demitris himself dragged Rou along. "We need to get all of them to the infirmary, any information gathering happens after they've recovered.", declared Demitris.

"You seem like a rather self assured young man.", commented Sulena. "Nah, this is rather new to me if I'm honest.", replied Demitris. "Thanks for helping out my friends, I think they needed a level headed woman such as yourself.", he added. As the carriage moved along, the healthy engaged in some casual banter while caring for the injured. Meanwhile, Eve was waking up, "The black tea doesn't wear off that easily...", she mumbled as she saw the horse drawn carriage in the distance. The mission to save Rou may be over, but the torment certainly wasn't, which is something they weren't aware of at the time
