Aster goes cold hearing Edward's threat, fearfully speaking in an emotionless tone. "Well it seems you're the only one to say it to my face...
Think? No no, I can tell you want me gone." To Aster, Edward's obvious desire to kill him was clearer than how defensive he gets after you insult his social status... "Christ, you annoy me to high hell. Scum? Well perhaps that's what I am, and would you look at that, you've gone silent again." Aster points directly at Edward and briefly looks Fleur dead in her eyes. "Scum like me managed to make it this close to your higher up. And how long did that take you then hm?" He proceeds to walk away then comes to a stop at Fleur's remark. "Hold on. Kill me? Well, would you like to bet on that. Don't embarrass yourself. I think you've done enough of that already." He proceeds to walk again with a cocky but scared mixed feeling.

Catoria scoffed at Aster. "Excuse me? Do my ears deceive me? First of all you rock up in Okamura territory and you expect people to listen to someone inferior such as you? HA. Don't make me laugh, you're highly hysterical, plebeian"

She walks in the direction of the pantry, the sound of heels echoing.

At all the defence for her own sake Fleur felt her chest swell in pride. But were they defending her or just hating on Aster? She couldn't complain as he spoke to her. She swallowed nervously, her eyes becoming watery and annoyed that she couldn't shut him up. Let's go. She snapped as he walked away grabbing onto the newcomer's arm and dragging him into a safer room, crossing her arms under her chest still feeling salty she simply pouted at him now with sad eyes letting go and shoving him away from her. "Edward shall deal with this now - I can't be bothered to waste my time on you."

"Fleur calm down!" Rou said in a raised voice. "I still think we should consider what Aster's been through before judging him. If it takes a duel to figure it out, then fine. I'm happy to supervise you, but from what's being implied, he does not want to be hated." Rou gives both of them a stern glare due to their immaturity, but believes they can work it out in the end with his guidance.

"Oh Rou, I do not believe Fleur is fit for fighting him right now. Perhaps to test his strength, he may need an opponent- however. If you'd like, you can be the one to fight him yourself," Edward put a hand on Rou's shoulder, leaning in to whisper in his ear. "I know that your combat skills are very impressive. If he steps out of line you can manage to dispose of him and make it seem like an accident." He leaned back, putting on a cheerier face. "Of course. Just a suggestion."

The group had arrived in the room- its walls covered in weapons and beautiful paintwork.

There was a figure already residing there.

Rou stared at the pale vampire with both anxiety and anticipation, what he thought would be a good time to observe and learn was instead becoming his own duel. "I accept the duel, hopefully I'll have a better idea at his ability by fighting him, and hopefully Fleur will be less wary of him knowing he isn't undefeatable." Despite looking forward to a clash with Aster, Rou was somewhat concerned Edward was up to something, so he addressed his query to his tall boss. "This won't be a fight to the death, will it?"

"Don't worry. It won't be a fight to the death unless it has to be," He said ominously- choosing to walk away from the conversation on that note.

Fleur listened frantically to the conversation as she sat down crossing her legs with a nervous expression on her face hearing Edwards words..she didn't want anything unnecessary to happen, it tugged on her mind how rude Aster was to her especially when she made it clear she was foung her job, she was confused as to why he felt the need to be so aggressive. So a fight seemed more fitting to make everyone feel better.

The cool outside air did it's job to clear Craaq's head. From the sounds of it, the crowd downstairs was still there, but this time he was prepared. He restrained himself from leaping down, and took them one at a time instead. I arrived in time to see them disappearing down to a lower floor. He hurried after

Rou walked up to Fleur's room to shower her in reassurance. "I'll make sure you're less weary of him in this battle, or maybe more weary, I'm not sure yet as we don't know his abilities." Rou glanced at the elven girl that was a foot and a half shorter than him, what was she thinking? He hopes she doesn't plan to kill Aster herself if he doesn't win...

Fleur looked up at Rou with a completely grumpy expression all over her features. She felt aggravated that she knew she probably wasn't strong enough to beat him while he was awake. "Do not try to make me feel better when you are unsure of him, he's scum, you'll be fine." she said in a cocky tone, her glare fixed on Aster. If this didn't kill him she was going to have to think of something.

"So, Rou, I'm assuming you've already mentally prepared yourself for what's to come. I'd expect no less from you," Edward spoke, a thin smile on his lips. It was an attempt to assure him- however with the circumstances it felt more chilling. "I will sort the actual preparations with Catoria and Viper-- if that's alright with you, Catoria?"

Viper was the mansion's sorceress, a threatening presence in Rou's eyes.

A cold-blooded smile creeps upon Catoria's face as she pulls herself up from leaning on the door frame.
"It appears that it's time for the adults to get down to business then. Hurry up and let's go."

"Wait up, I'm still not sure what he's capable of, surely you or he could give me some sort of a hint?" Somewhat anxious of the fight to come, Rou went to pester Viper for advice, as threatening as she may be.

Edward decided to not do anything about Rou pestering Viper. He'd give out advice himself, yet he wasn't nearly bothered enough and he certainly wasn't in the mood. All he could do was hope Aster wouldn't end up stronger than Rou. If he was- he'd be a threat unless he could somehow convince him to join his syndicate.

As Rou pesters Viper, she starts to get more and more irritated. Eventually - more like a couple of seconds - a loud flash and the potion Vipers working on goes up in flames "UGHHH. LEAVE ME TO MAKE MY POTIONS. I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHAT HAPPENS" As she says this she gets her wandering out to clean up the mess.

Fleur covers her eyes with a scared face as viper shouts biting her lip not liking the loud noise jumping back as a potion went up in flames. She worried it would spread so she furrowed her brows quickly jumping over and grabbing a cloth patting it down she didn't want anything unnecessary to stop this fight..."Viper! Please be more careful when Sir Edward is here!" she said when a stressed face holding Viper's shoulders tightly due to her stress levels being at max with all the tensions.

"Get off me" Viper says, anger rising again. "It's not my fault I've been disturbed by you a lot. Imma go get a drink." Just as she reaches the door she adds with a smirk on her face. "Oh. And don't break anything. Especially as you don't know what they all do".

"I'll try, but no promises. My ice ability is rather 'large scale' if you can't already tell." Rou felt embarrassed with himself for attempting to be cocky in front of Viper, at least before Aster landed here he had no one for people to compare him to.

Aster witnesses everyone's opinions, too afraid to respond until the right moment. "Would you look at that...I got roped all the way into something like this just for speaking my mind. Well there's not much that can be done about it."he thinks sighing deeply, mixed thoughts flowing through his mind. "Let's get it over with. Whatever happens happens I suppose. There will be no hints. It's foolish to let an opponent have knowledge of your own abilities unless you know victory is guaranteed."

"Well then," Edward sat down on a stool in the margin of the room- not even asking viper's permission fully for them to use it. "Let the fight begin then!"
