An hour later, the group had made their way to the Renegard territory at the other end of town. Little did they know, Okumura's resident stalker had followed them there...
Viper went out in the field during the morning, which gave Shiva the perfect opportunity to leave her room. The seemingly immortal runt thought it would be a good idea to hide in the luggage within the carriage in which Fleur and Aster sat, reluctantly.
Tap, tap tap, went the boxes at the back of the horse drawn vehicle, which make Fleur jump out of her skin. "Are you sure you're a caporeigme and not just an imposter?", Aster declares jokingly. "I-I'm qualified...", Fleur did not enjoy being underestimated, and this was the third time! But what were in those boxes that made the tapping sound?
"R-right, one more comment and Sir Edward will...", Aster just yawned, he'd heard worse from people who actually liked him. "Pfft, that's hilarious!!!", he said, almost falling out of his seat with laughter.
The soldiers in front signalled that they had entered Renegard territory, Craaq was up front, keeping watch. A rather familiar town looked back at him ominously. "It can't be...", he pondered, thinking he'd seen this estate before, but wasn't fully sure.
The horses stopped moving, they had arrived. The regime didn't require a disguise, their oath of silence was enough of a cover, what they promised to Edward and the rest of the syndicate during the months, or to some, years of working under the Okumura name. Aster was to make a similar pledge when the deed was done.
A painting of the target, from an anonymous associate, was given to Aster along with his notes. Green hair, blue eyes, short in height, often seen wearing black, that's what he was looking for. He decided to ask Craaq if he'd seen her, but Fleur blocked him. "W-we are not to look suspicious...", she slapped him on the hand, urging him to keep the photo close to his person.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to what's going on, goes to explore the area looking for the thing he believed was familiar. Suddenly, Shiva surprises him from inside one of bushes. "Hey rabbit! You can drop the act around me.", Craaq didn't even know this man, and yet he knew his identity? What witch craft is this?
"I dunno what drug Viper's being giving me, but it seems I can see through your helmet. You think I'm racist or something? You know I don't give a damn about that! Anyways, fancy causing chaos in the upcoming fight?". Craaq looked at the slightly taller man in disbelief, he would never disobey Lady Fleur if it was the kast thing he'd do. After all, she's the only person other than this runt (and possibly Viper) that knows his true identity.
Fleur kept a close eye on Aster, he shouldn't be irresponsible around her. Imagine what Sir Edward would do if she didn't keep him in line. A demotion is the last thing she needs. In the town, every looked the same to her, how hard has this task got to be? Is Aster feeling the same about the difficulty?
Aster takes a particular interest in on of the townsfolk. Looking at the short woman, he examined her appearance. Green hair? Check! Blue eyes? Absolutely! Wearing black? Definitely! THIS was his chance to prove himself, he prepared his claymore and charged, ready for the fight to come.
