As the fight during the night continued on, Fleur's mind reading ability was working for the first time since Aster's initiation. "My head, it's not clouded by Aster's presence anymore. If I want to help Aster fight Rou in this predicament, I need to find out what Rou remembered while he was here.", thought Fleur, while she was frozen in place. She focused really hard on Rou's thoughts, taking them in, one by one, finally being able to piece together a scenario that is not only plausible could have happened, but is almost certain.

Rou's face was covered by a blindfold and could feel the sensation of being carried. "Take me, I can't be caught dead around here...", the man thought as he was lifted and rushed out of the mansion during the auction. Echoes of Edward's voice, begging for him to be given back were heard in the distance, but surely they were an illusion, so Rou didn't shout back. "Maybe this will give me a better outlook on life.", his thoughts pondered.

Before too long, he was whisked away in a carriage as fast as the horses could trot over to the Renegard mansion. Rou's sight was still obscured by the blindfold, but he could hear the bustling environment of the vast building, and smell a slight difference in the air compared to his home. Whomever was carrying him wasn't very gentle, and he could feel himself being dragged along, he daren't use his ice in fear of losing control.

Up the stairs the soldiers went, before they strode down the halls of the first floor. They propped Rou on a steel chair, restraining the man so he's unable to use his powers and break free. Finally, the blindfold was taken of him, and standing in front of him were Eve Renegard, and her underboss, Peter Kirkman, both intrinsically analysing everything about him, from his face, to his stance, and the situation he was put in.

Eve in particular was very curious of him, walking around the blue haired man, feeling his head and soldiers to seemingly get a better idea of his predicament. "So, this is the runaway caporegime from the Okumura Syndicate?", Eve remarked. Peter giggled discreetly, "Looks rather pathetic if you ask me. Poor frosty, what on Earth have you got yourself into?", he questioned, taunting the man in a cocky tone.

Rou couldn't speak or he'd burst out into tears, his heart was already beating at 2 hundred miles an hour and his breathing was inconsistent at best. "Not saying anything?", questioned Eve, desperate for information as she circled Rou. "Tell us what was going on in the auction.", Peter exclaimed. Eve and Peter stared at each other and agreed that if they were going to get something out of him, they'd need to use force.

Peter approached Rou, conjuring a knife with his magic. Kneeling down beside the terrified man, he then held the knife to his throat, carefully brushing it against his neck. "Peter, is this really necessary?", Eve enquired. Peter laughed with pleasure, "Of course it is, I've been waiting a long time to get him in this state.", he replied to his boss. "It's the only way we're going to get him to speak."

Pressing the knife against Rou's flesh, refraining from stabbing him, Peter created tension between him and the blue haired man. A single teardrop fell from Rou's eye, he knew that if he didn't say anything, Peter would slit his throat. "What is the name of our disobedient hostage?", Eve asked, finally playing along with Peter's plot. Rou shuddered, "M-my name is Rou Okumura...", he cried. Peter removed the knife, bringing slight relief to Rou, but still his anxiety ran rampant within his head with intrusive thoughts about the auction.

Upon hearing his name, Eve's face changed, "So you're a caporegime if I'm correct?", she pondered. "Y-yes...", stuttered Rou. He was unsure what to do, for now he anticipated what was going to happen next. "I've only received information on your abilities, the names of caporegime are never released to anyone but associates of their syndicates. Speaking of which, seems as if you had a problem with one of them...", she elaborated.

"Y-yes, I...really don't want to think about that for now...", Rou muttered. Eve shrugged, "You won't have to, for now. I should get a servant to escort you to where you're staying, where you're not to leave without permission from anyone ranked as a capo or higher in this syndicate.", she informed. Peter was taken aback, "Rules this lenient for the most dangerous ice user I've ever met?!", he expressed with disgust. Eve tried to ease his suspicion, "He needs to be comfortable if we want to find out more about the Okumura syndicate.", she whispered to her underboss.

Peter untied Rou and a servant was called to take him to his room, a quaint setup on the first floor, close to the office he just left. He was surprised he was being treated this well within a rival syndicate, from what he knew, he'd assumed they'd kill him on the spot. There were many conclusions he could make, were they planning something? Were they waiting for him to be in a state to ask questions? All of these were merely assumptions that Rou would just need to find out later.
