Aster lands in a another world where he finds himself on the private property of a crime syndicate. Initially he isn't accepted, but it is his goal to rise up the ranks and get recognition within the syndicate as it's the only thing he has!
Side Not...
Aster couldn't believe he was defending Catoria after he found out the reason for Demitris's suffering. Maybe it was to fight corruption? Maybe he supported her decision? No matter his opinion, he knew the syndicate would certainly be ratted out if he didn't follow the rest of the succubus's plan. As Catoria watched as a fight broke out between Vladimir and Maryanne, with the latter desperately trying to reach her, she needed to get the last laugh before escaping.
"I've had enough of this, I'm going to be free, and I'm going to take you with me.", she announced. "What do you mean?", asked Aster, "We're not finished yet." The tall woman glared into Aster's eyes, signalling she's in no need for cooperation, "I'm not finished yet.", she repeated. Aster took the signal and dragged Craaq and Shiva out of the room before a pair of bouncers blocked the door. Fleur and Viper remained in the room, both slowly getting frustrated.
"What the hell are you planning, you conniving bitch?", asked Viper, chuckling at her superior's genius. "I'm afraid I can't disclose that information, you just have to trust me.", said Catoria. Vladimir scoffed, "There's nothing you can do, you're surrounded…", he remarked, about to strike Viper and Fleur. The elf girl immediately kicked him in the grion, having stored up all her frustration from the day, "Your company's going down with you!", she yelled.
Vladimir was about to retaliate, but Catoria, who had been watching the entire incident, had her own plan. "I know what you're planning, you're going to kill me!", Vladimir shouted. Catoria cackled, "It's much better than that, you know those contracts you signed, they were appointing myself as heir to your company. You said you needed one, right?". Vladimir looked at the succubus in disbelief, "You are insane, I'll never agree to that, it's a bad idea for a myriad of reasons." She punched Vladimir in the face, and he collapsed to the ground.
"Get on my back girls, time to make an escape.", Catoria informed. "You're surrounded, there's no way you won't be apprehended!", Maryanne exclaimed. "Viper, now!", Catoria declared. Viper drew her wand and aimed a flash of lightning at the ceiling, utterly demolishing the roof tiles above. Catoria took her subordinates upon her back and began to flap her wings, looking at Maryanne as she drifted above, "Maybe stop being dependent on your unfaithful husband and think for yourself for once!", she declared as she finally ascended.
Catoria took her subordinates up in the sky, searching for Aster, Shiva and Craaq as they were suspended mid air. Upon noticing them, Catoria sped toward them, keeping a firm grip on Fleur and Viper. "Seems the plan was successful, didn't I say I needed you capos at the end?", she remarked as she landed. Aster was disheartened by the events of the day, believing he was more black listed than ever, not to mention everything that he had to inform Demitris. He was desperate to get home.
"Catoria, I knew you were behind this the whole time.", said Shiva. "Seems you're rather observervant.", Catoria pointed out Shiva went on, "I see a lot of things in my travels including discussion of plans in other people's offices, of course I only use information that would benefit me, but I hear everything.". Aster couldn't believe he didn't think of this, Shiva knew more than anyone, and had had many questions. "Could you tell us more, what else goes on in the mansion? You have so much potential, Shiva!", he asked, somewhat astonished at Shiva's nosiness.
Shiva pulled Aster aside and whispered in his ear, "You're a fellow intruder, like me. I'd explain a few things, just not in front of everyone else, there's something going on in this syndicate that I've been keeping to myself.". Aster was incredibly intrigued and needed this information, "We have a deal.", he whispered back to the two toned man. "What are you two going on about?", Catoria asked, somewhat worried by their distraction. "Nothing too serious, just soldier affairs.", answered Aster as vaguely as he could.
Aster couldn't have people know what he was thinking, Shiva could be the key to find out so many things. With his busyness, due to the auction, saving Rou and now this assignment, he had barely made progress in finding out the connection between the syndicate and his clan and was determined to find out who wrote the study that revealed so much about before all these life changing events happened.
Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by Fleur, "Aster? Can you please snap out of whatever trance you're in and listen to instructions?", she insisted. Aster blushed, not realising people would notice him not paying attention, especially not Fleur. The black haired boy snapped out of it and listened to Catoria. "We must head back to the mansion immediately, Edward needs to know our findings.", she announced. As the group prepared to head back, they got ready to end this exhausting, yet informative assignment.
