"I must say Rou, your soldiers have amazing form!", remarked Vox. "I can assure you that they protect the syndicate with their lives, and I certainly give them ample punishment when they don't.", Rou replied sternly. Aster side eyed Demitris, who was still trembling. "What is he playing at?!", the black haired boy thought. Finally, after a minute of standing around, Demitris tripped outside the line. Rou was very cross, rushing up to his subordinate. "You fool! Why'd you get out of line?!", he shouted.

The other soldiers, including Aster, couldn't anticipate what was going on, but Demitris looked at his friend, giving a thumbs up. At that point, Aster knew everything was okay, but was still concerned what Rou, and by proxy Vox, would do to the auburn haired man. "Demitris, my office, immediately...", announced Rou. With such a quick response, Vox was impressed, "Seems like this group have good discipline.", he remarked.

However, unbeknownst to him, this was a strange occurrence in Rou's squad, usually it would be a hit with his staff and he'd be done with it, but this felt different, this felt serious. In the office, Rou violently pushed Demitris against one of the walls and pointed his bejeweled staff towards him. "What on earth are you planning?! Tell me! There's no way I'm letting you make a scene out there!", he emphasised.

Out of pure love and concern, Demitris cupped one of Rou's cheeks and remained calm, "I'm helping you Rou, you're aware that Vox is a traitor, right?", he said in his most calming voice possible. "I know you're a tortured soul without love, and I'd certainly be willing to give it to you…", he added. However, Rou wasn't having any of it. Further jamming his soldier against the wall, he continued to berate him, "How dare you assume that about one of your superiors?! Vox is a friend, why else would he help me at the tavern?!", yelled Rou.

Demitris pushed Rou away from him, seeing past his own feelings. "You have a lot you need to figure out, you dominated by your anger most of the time and no one knows why!", he shouted back at the blue haired man. Rou got up, brushing himself off, "Demitris, remain quiet during this assessment. I can't handle this right now...", he grumbled, walking out of the office, holding the door for his subordinate.

"I see how it is, he can't think rationally right now. But I have to figure out what Vox is planning. There has to be some kind of ruse...", thought Demitris as he followed along. The two men returned to the entrance, where the soldiers were gossiping upon their arrival. "So the nasty little scamp learned his lesson, eh Rou?", questioned Vox, seeing what seems to be a resolved situation. "We must return to the training room, Vox needs to see a real display.", ordered Rou. Vox couldn't wait to see what was in store.

In the training room, Rou walked up to Vox and tapped his shoulder. "They're still on your case, you best be careful. ", he whispered. "I'll do my best to clear those accusations.", he added. A smile crept upon Vox's face, "No matter, I only need Eddie's approval anyway.", Vox replied back. Demitris returned to the group, "I don't know how I managed to get away with calling him out, especially since I was staring at his crotch the whole time...", he said jokingly to Aster.

"Maybe we should save discussions on Rou's 'package' for later. There's a huge elephant in the room and he's a fae.", Aster whispered. "I honestly don't think Vox planned this...", replied Demitris. "Yes, he intended to be boss for a day, but I think Rou's the one that invited him for an assessment so he can prove he isn't the traitor.", informed Demitris. "I see...", Aster pondered. "Just leave it be for now, there's got to be only a few minutes left.", he extended.

"Rou, I must say that your squad seems to be following orders very well, I shall head to Fleur, I mean Craaq's training room if that's okay.", Vox announced. "Let me show you more! My soldiers will certainly allow it...", insisted Rou. "My job is done, we shall discuss this later.", assured Vox. Rou tried to chase after him, but gave up halfway. "That man is desperate for Vox's attention today...", commented Aster. "Agreed...", replied Demitris.

As Vox left, he thought to himself, "A good way of scouting the competition. If I do say so myself. Ah Rou, so naive, I'm sure the other regimes won't be much better, it seems a soldier without their capo is powerless, perfect. They thought promoting Fleur behind my back was a good idea, but now I know there's a good sign they'll be an uprising. That silly little elf has another thing coming...". His feet stepped down the halls, practically gliding, by the end of today he will have planned everything.
