JENNIE POV

I glanced at the clock, it was already 12 midnight I was in the midst of preparing tomorrow's meeting agenda with shareholders and reviewing the files Jisoo had emailed me. I knew it was going to be a long night.

Feeling the need for a caffeine boost, I headed to the kitchen to brew some coffee to keep me awake. I grabbed a coffee mug and was about to start brewing when the doorbell rang. Curious, I checked the CCTV first, and my eyes widened as I saw Lisa standing outside, looking cold and disheveled. I quickly rushed to the door and helped her inside.

“Lisa!” I shook her gently, “What are you doing here?”

I can smell alcohol on your breath. “Are you drunk?"

She didn't respond, just looking dazed. "Where's Bobby?" I asked, growing more concerned, but she remained unresponsive.

"Where's your phone? I'll call Bobby to come get you," I said, feeling concerned about her state.

I started searching her pockets for her phone, but I couldn't find it, only her wallet. I continued rummaging through her jacket when she suddenly grabbed my hand. “Why are you so adamant about calling Bobby?” she said in a drunken voice.

"You're clearly not in a condition to make decisions, Lisa. Give me your phone, and I'll call your brother," I insisted.

"Do you want to call Bobby just so you can see him?" her words slightly slurred.

I raised an eyebrow at her statement. What did she mean? Was she talking about her brother, or something more?

“You shouldn't be here, and you're not thinking clearly. You need help Lisa, Bobby will pick you up here," I replied, trying to keep my voice calm.

“I can't let you leave like this, it's not safe. Stay on the couch.”

I said and was about to stand when she pulled my hand to sit on her lap.

“Lisa, stop. You're not making any sense," I exclaimed, trying to gently pry her hand loose. But she clung to me like a lifeline, her desperation palpable. I felt a pang of unease as her eyes, normally so bright and expressive, became unfocused and glassy.

“What's going on, Lisa? Why are you doing this?" I asked, trying to reason with her as I struggled to free myself from her grasp.

But she just pulled me closer, her breath hot against my ear. "I hate feeling alone," she whispered, her voice trembling.

I felt a pang of sympathy for her, mixed with a sense of unease. Who had left her feeling so alone and abandoned? "You're not alone, Lisa," I said, trying to reassure her. "Maybe I can be here for you. Let's talk about what's going on and figure out a way to get through this together."

I looked into her eyes, trying to connect with her and offer a sense of comfort. Her gaze was glassy and unfocused, but I sensed a deep sadness and desperation behind her eyes. I saw an opportunity to make a real difference in her life, not just be another person who left her in the dust.

Before I knew what was happening, she lunged forward and pressed her lips to mine. It was a rough, aggressive kiss, and for a moment I was caught off guard.

I slowly pulling back as I tried to process what was happening. But she just drew me back in, her arms wrapping tight around me..

Gradually she released me from her embrace tears seemed to fall in her eye. I was stunned by her gaze and was carried away, again she kisses me but was more tender than earlier, soft and gentle.

My thoughts were racing as I tried to make sense of the situation.

I broke away from her, "I'm giving you a chance to stop this, Lisa," I said, my voice steady.
