Lisa didn't go to work, consumed with remorse over what had happened last night . The guilt gnawed at her, worsened by the silence between her and Jennie since their argument.

She heard the front door open and recognized Jennie's footsteps. Her heart raced as she got up from the couch, her eyes fixed on the entrance.

Jennie walked in, her face a mask of exhaustion and sorrow. She stopped short when she saw Lisa standing there, looking anxious.

"Jennie," Lisa began, her voice trembling, "I'm so sorry. Please, can we talk?"

Jennie's eyes flickered with emotion before she noticed Jisoo entering behind her. "Wait for me here," Jennie said to Jisoo, who nodded but remained silent, her anger barely contained.

Lisa, confused and wary, turned to Jisoo. "What are you doing here?"

Jisoo's composure shattered. She stormed over and grabbed Lisa by the collar, fury blazing in her eyes. "Why don't you ask yourself! You broke my trust, Lisa!"

"I didn't mean to hurt her," Lisa stammered, struggling against Jisoo's grip.

Jisoo's anger boiled over. She punched Lisa, sending her sprawling to the floor. Unsatisfied, she yanked Lisa up again, her voice a raw scream. "You jerk! Jennie will leave you, and you have no right to stop her!"

Jisoo released Lisa, who lay on the floor, stunned. As Jisoo walked away, Lisa slowly sat up, wiping blood from her lip. Realizing the gravity of the situation, she scrambled to her feet and dashed upstairs. She flung open the bedroom door to find Jennie packing her things, tears streaming down her face.

"Jennie! Let's talk about this, please," Lisa begged.

Jennie didn't look up, her movements frantic as she stuffed clothes into a suitcase. Lisa reached out to grab her hand, but Jennie jerked away. "Don't touch me!"

"Jennie, I'm really sorry for what I said last night. Can you please listen to me?"

"It's not just about last night, Lisa."

"Then what?" Lisa asked, desperation in her voice.

"Your wife!" Jennie spat the word like it was poison.

Lisa froze, her eyes widening in shock. "Han Soo Hee? She's not my wife anymore, Jennie. I ended our marriage four years ago. I filed for divorce, but she hasn't signed the papers. I didn't tell you because—"

"Enough!" Jennie interrupted, her voice breaking. "Why didn't you tell me? Were you afraid I'd leave you? Where is my right to know the truth, Lisa? I've been waiting for three years for you to tell me, but I waited in vain."

"J..Jennie. I just.. I planned to tell you, I just needed time." Lisa stammered, she could able to look at Jennie.

"Time? This is your idea of perfect timing?" Jennie scoffed, her voice thick with sarcasm. "I knew about the divorce. I can wait because I love you, but your deceit..."

Lisa's eyes widened with shock. Her heart pounded in her chest as she struggled to process Jennie's revelation. She knew all along. "You knew?"

Jennie threw an envelope at Lisa's chest. "Open it."

Lisa's hands trembled as she opened the envelope, revealing photos of her at Han Soo Hee's house. She felt her world collapse. Lisa, visibly distraught, fell to her knees in front of Jennie, clutching her waist and sobbing uncontrollably. "Please, Jennie, just let me explain," she pleaded, her voice breaking. "I know you're disgusted with me right now, but I need you to hear me out. I was drunk, I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

Jennie looked down at Lisa, her eyes cold and filled with pain. "Explain?" she scoffed, her voice trembling with suppressed emotion. "What more is there to explain? You couldn't even stop moaning her name. Did it feel good? Did she satisfy you in ways I couldn’t? Is that why you treated me so horribly last night?"

Jennie took a deep breath, fighting back her own tears. "No woman dreams of being a mistress, but I did it for you. I was foolish enough to believe in your love, to lower my standards, and defend you against everyone, including my own family. I swallowed my pride and trampled on my self-respect because I thought we had something real. I knew it was wrong, I had no right to feel angry or hurt, but I chose you, Lisa. I chose you every single time."

Her voice cracked as she continued, "I feel like a desperate, jealous fool for loving you. I’m disgusted with myself for how far I’ve fallen. But despite everything, despite the pain and humiliation, I still love you. And that’s what hurts the most."

Lisa’s sobs grew louder as Jennie’s words cut through the silence. She clung to Jennie’s waist, her tears soaking Jennie's clothes "I know what I did was unforgivable. But I love you, Jennie. I made a horrible mistake, and I'll do anything to make it right."

Jennie shook her head, meeting Lisa's eyes filled with regrets, "I'm done, Lisa," she said firmly, turning away as Lisa collapsed to her knees, sobbing.

"Please, Jennie. Let's fix this. Don't leave me," Lisa pleaded, reaching out.

Jennie stopped her with a look, tears streaming down her face. "Stay back. You promised you wouldn't hurt me, but you broke that promise. I gave you everything. Did I deserve this pain? I wish you had just killed me so I wouldn't feel this anymore. Why do you do this to me? I trusted you, but why? Lisa why? Please tell me?"

Jennie sobbed as she lightly punched Lisa's chest. She had no strength left to shout, she felt tired from crying so hard as her head rested on Lisa's chest, devastated.
Lisa held her gently, her own tears falling. "I'm so sorry, Jennie. I love you more than anything. Please, give me one more chance."

But Jennie's silence spoke louder than any words.

JISOO POV.

I leaned my head against the door, hearing everything. It tore me apart to hear Jennie cry like that—I'd never heard her cry so deeply before. Her final words cut through me, and I clenched my fists, kicking the door open.

Jennie was crumpled on the floor, sobbing uncontrollably. I rushed to her and shoved Lisa away. "Jennie, let's go." I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and helped her to her feet. She clung to me, crying even harder, her grip tightening with every passing second.

"It's okay, Jennie. I'm here. You're safe now. Let's go home," I whispered, rubbing her back to calm her down.

"Don't interfere, Jisoo. We can fix this," Lisa protested, trying to pull Jennie back.

"Don't touch her, Lisa. I warn you," I snapped, yanking Jennie’s hands free and pushing her toward the door.

"I hope you're happy, Lisa. You hurt the person who loved you, who was willing to be a fool for you. But that’s over now. I know the truth, and I won't let Jennie come back to you. I’ll do everything to keep you away from her. I was wrong to trust you, and I regret it. You’re the most worthless person I've ever met. Don't ever come near Jennie again, or I swear I’ll make you pay."
