The next evening,

JENNIE. POV

I decided to invite my friends over for a casual evening at our place. Lisa had plans to catch up with her friends, and I knew they hadn’t had much time to bond lately. I trusted them completely, so when Lisa asked if she could have a drink with her friends, I encouraged her to go and enjoy herself. It felt good to have a little space, knowing we would both be surrounded by people who cared about us.

Meanwhile, Lisa and her friends gathered at a trendy bar in the heart of the city. The atmosphere was relaxed, filled with laughter and camaraderie.

"You know, bro, it's a good idea that we're not with our girlfriends tonight. Sometimes it feels suffocating," Bambam said, taking a swig of his beer.

Jisoo chuckled and teased, "Why, did Wendy choke you?"

Bambam grinned. "No, I was the one who choked her every night," he said, making the others burst into laughter.

"We haven't been together like this for a long time since Lisa and Jennie got together," Hanbin added, a nostalgic smile on his face.

Jackson leaned back in his chair and teased Lisa, "Of course, because our friend here is afraid of Jennie. Meow!"

Lisa rolled her eyes, laughing along. "You guys know it's important to balance things out. Tonight's our time, so let’s enjoy it."

Seulgi raised her glass, looking at Lisa. "You know what? We have freedom now. We can do whatever we want. Right, Lisa?"

Lisa raised her beer with a grin. "Yeah, but no girls allowed. Let's just enjoy the night."

"Definitely. Irene might kill me if I bring anyone else," Seulgi added with a laugh.

Jackson stood up, raising his beer. "Forget them for tonight, guys. Let's get drunk and think of ourselves as single for the night. Cheers to being free!"

The group raised their glasses in unison. "Toast! Let’s call it a single party," Jisoo chimed in, and they all clinked their glasses together, laughing and drinking.

On the other hand, Jennie's friends were delighted, relishing their newfound freedom away from their ever-watchful boyfriends.

"I've missed you girls so much. We haven't had a chance to do this in ages because we're always with them. It's nice to have our own time while they think they're the only ones having fun," said Irene, a smile lighting up her face.

"Absolutely, Irene," Wendy chimed in, taking a sip of her whiskey. "I want to let loose tonight with no one to stop me! Although, I still can't get used to this taste."

Her friends laughed at her grimace.

Nancy, fresh from her trip to America, looked at Jennie with concern. "Jennie, why are you so quiet?"

Jennie sighed. "I was just thinking... what if they bring other women there?"

Irene chuckled, trying to ease Jennie's worry. "Don't stress, Jennie. I have access to the bar's CCTV. If they do anything suspicious, we'll be the first to know. But honestly, I doubt they'd dare. Just for tonight, can you forget about Lisa and enjoy yourself? Here, have a drink."

She handed Jennie a glass of whiskey, which Jennie took and drank in one go.

"If I find out they brought another woman, I'll scold Jisoo like there's no tomorrow," Rosé said, her voice suddenly firm.

"And I won't hesitate to pull that woman's hair out until she's bald," Irene added, her tone half-serious, half-joking.

They all burst into laughter, the tension melting away as they continued to enjoy their evening together.
