"Damn it, Lisa! Jennie was so mad at me last night. You know I can’t sleep when she’s like that.” Seulgi stormed into Lisa's office, her voice filled with frustration. Her eyes were heavy with dark circles, evidence of a sleepless night.

Lisa looked up from her sketches, seeing the distress on Seulgi's face. “Calm down, Seulgi. You’re making me dizzy. Can you please sit down first?”

Seulgi threw her hands in the air, pacing back and forth. “It’s your fault, Lisa. If Jennie bans me from your house, I swear to God, I won’t talk to you anymore.”

Lisa sighed, putting her pen down. “Chill, Seulgi. Jennie isn’t mad. Maybe she was just upset last night. I’ll talk to her about it.”

Seulgi glared at her. “You better talk to her, Lisa. Or consider our friendship over."

Lisa got up from her chair and walked over to Seulgi, tapping her on the shoulder. “Okay, I get it. Thanks for saving me last night. How about I treat you to a drink?”

Seulgi hesitated but eventually nodded. “Fine, but you better sort things out with Jennie.”

“Cool. Just wait here, I’ll finish my work quickly,” Lisa said, heading back to her desk.

A sudden knock on the door interrupted them. “Come in,” Lisa called out.

“Han Soo Hee!” Seulgi exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise as she saw the woman enter.

Lisa's expression hardened. “Seulgi, wait for me outside.”

Seulgi nodded, shooting a worried glance at Lisa before leaving the room.

“What are you doing here?” Lisa’s voice was filled with anger as she faced Han Soo Hee.

“Lisa, I just want to know if you’re okay, about what happened yesterday," Han Soo Hee's voice was soft, almost pleading.

“You don’t need to check on me. I’ll be even better when you leave,” Lisa retorted.

“But—”

“I said leave! Jennie might see you here,” Lisa interrupted sharply.

Han Soo Hee's eyes filled with desperation. “Why are you so afraid of her finding out the truth? I’m still your wife, Lisa. I have more right to you than she ever will.”

Lisa’s eyes narrowed, her anger boiling over. “You’re delusional, Han Soo Hee. We were over the moment you cheated on me. There is no ‘us’ anymore.”

Han Soo Hee stepped closer, her voice rising. “I won’t let Jennie take you away from me. I’ll fight for what’s mine. I’ll fight for you."

Lisa clenched her fists, her body trembling with rage. “You think you can fight for me? After everything you’ve done? You’re nothing to me now, Han Soo Hee. Nothing. Stay away from me and stay away from Jennie. This is over."

Han Soo Hee’s eyes flashed with defiance. “It’s not over until I didn't sign our divorce, Lisa. I know you need me for that. I won’t let you go without a fight!" She turned on her heel and stormed out.

Lisa watched her leave, a mix of anger and pain etched on her face. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself before stepping out to face Seulgi and the rest of her day.

SEULGI POV.

I was in the parking lot, leaning against Lisa’s car, my mind racing with thoughts of Han Soo Hee. The woman who had shattered Lisa’s life was back, and I would do anything to prevent her from causing more pain. My eyes were fixed on the elevator doors when they opened, and Han Soo Hee hurried out.
