The this morning,
Jennie woke up with a heavy heart, the events of the previous night weighing heavily on her mind. She knew she had to find Lisa and make things right. With a sense of urgency, she grabbed her phone and called Lisa, but it went straight to voicemail. She tried several more times with no success, feeling her anxiety grow with each attempt.
Determined, Jennie decided to head over to Lisa's apartment. When she arrived and knocked on the door, there was no answer. She waited for a few minutes, hoping Lisa would come to the door, but the silence was deafening. In desperation, she called Seulgi.
"Seulgi, it's Jennie. Have you seen Lisa? I really need to talk to her," Jennie asked, her voice trembling with worry.
Seulgi sighed on the other end of the line. "Jennie, Lisa left for Jeju last night after the charity event. She was really upset."
Jennie's heart sank. "Jeju? Why didn't she tell me?"
"She was in a bad place, Jennie. She needed some time to herself," Seulgi explained gently.
Feeling a wave of guilt crash over her, Jennie ended the call and decided to leave Lisa a message.

As the workload for the day was lighter compared to other days at the site, Lisa took some time to breathe by the cliff, where she could overlook the vast expanse of the blue sea. She savored the cool air, letting it clear her mind as she lost herself in thought.
Jimin, who had just arrived after overseeing the city projects, noticed Lisa's unusual inattentiveness. It was unlike her, and he assumed she might be exhausted. Wanting to cheer her up, he decided to bring her a cup of coffee, believing it could make her feel better.
"Hey, what's up?" he exclaimed, handing the cup to Lisa.
Lisa turned and smiled, genuinely glad to see him. Jimin was one of the few people she trusted implicitly at work.
"Thanks, Jimin. Just needed a moment," she said, taking the cup and sipping the warm coffee.
They stood together, the serene landscape providing a perfect backdrop for their conversation.
"I noticed you seemed a bit off today," Jimin observed gently. "Everything okay?"
Lisa sighed, her gaze drifting back to the sea. "Just a lot on my mind. Personal stuff. But let's not worry about that now. How's everything with the city projects?"
Jimin nodded, understanding her need for privacy. "It's going well. We wrapped up the major tasks ahead of schedule. I was thinking we could apply some of those techniques to our project here."
Lisa's interest piqued as they began discussing work. "That's a great idea. We need to streamline our processes here too."
They delved into the work plan, talking about the different projects and the challenges they faced. Jimin's enthusiasm and practical suggestions began to lift Lisa's spirits.
"We've got some big challenges ahead, but I know we can handle them," Jimin said confidently.
Lisa nodded, feeling a renewed sense of determination. "You're right. Thanks for the coffee and the pep talk, Jimin. It means a lot."
Jimin smiled, patting her on the shoulder. "Anytime, Lisa. We're a team, after all."
As they continued their discussion, Lisa felt a weight lift off her shoulders. With trusted colleagues like Jimin by her side, she knew she could face any challenge, both at work and in her personal life.

Jennie sat at her desk, staring blankly at her computer screen. The cursor blinked at her, but she couldn't focus on the words she was supposed to be typing. Her mind was consumed by thoughts of Lisa, replaying the events of the previous night over and over again. Guilt gnawed at her, and the regret of leaving Lisa behind haunted her every moment.
