Jennie was roused from a half-asleep state by a sudden movement. She felt Lisa's arms gently encircle her body. With care, she turned to see Lisa and managed to adjust her position without disturbing her slumber.
As Lisa continued to peacefully sleep, Jennie couldn't help but admire her. She softly caressed Lisa's cheek and traced her lips with her finger. She whispered tenderly, "Your eyes are like a bottomless pit. I'm afraid of falling, but they draw me in."
Jennie swiftly gathered her clothes and dressed herself before making her way downstairs to prepare breakfast for Lisa.
In the kitchen, Jennie opened the fridge, only to find it almost entirely empty, save for two lonely bottles of beer. She checked the drawers and cupboards, but they too were devoid of any food.
"This apartment is too big for one person," she muttered to herself, her curiosity piqued.
As Jennie began to explore the spacious apartment, something enormous in the living room caught her eye. She approached the gigantic frame and touched it, disbelief dancing in her eyes.
"Is this real?" She mumbled in amazement, her gaze locked on the vast frame displaying a woman's nude body.
Determined to examine it more closely, Jennie took a nearby chair to stand on, eager to get a better view.
"Do you like it?"
Lisa's voice rang out, causing Jennie to startle as if her heart had leaped from her chest. In her surprise, she promptly descended from the chair, clutching her chest.
"You scared me!"
Jennie exclaimed, her heart still racing, as she yelled at Lisa, who stood upstairs.
Lisa quickly descended the stairs, her demeanor apologetic. "Did I scare you? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
Jennie reassured her, "No, I'm fine. It's not serious."
Lisa's voice carried a sultry undertone as she questioned, "Why didn't you wake me up?"
Jennie responded, explaining, "I thought about cooking for you, but there was no food here. Then I stumbled upon this painting, it's beautiful. Where did you get it?" Her curiosity was piqued by the artwork.
"Are you a photographer?" she added, wanting to know more about Lisa's creative side.
Lisa responded with a hint of mystery, "Maybe. Didn't Bobby tell you?"
Jennie shook her head, her gaze transfixed on the captivating artwork. "He didn't tell me much about you, except that you weren't close." Her curiosity still burning, she probed further, "So, where did you get this painting?"
Lisa smiled, her eyes still on the artwork. "Beautiful, isn't it? Some people might just see a naked body of a woman, but they don't understand the meaning and message this painting conveys. To me, clothes are simply a barrier between your soul and your personality. If you're an artist, you'd understand what I mean." Lisa chuckled softly.
Jennie, captivated by the artwork, nodded in agreement. "Wow, it's truly something. I'm not an artist, so it's hard to grasp this kind of art."
Lisa's gaze remained on the portrait, her smile evident. "Life beats down and crushes the soul, and art reminds you that you have one."
Jennie looked at Lisa with curiosity. "What inspired you to create this masterpiece? Did you have a model for it, or was it solely your imagination?"
Lisa met her eyes, her tone sincere. "Not enough to create poetry while looking into someone's eyes."
Jennie, taken aback, asked in surprise, "Did you create this just now?"
Lisa inquired, "Don't you like it?"
Hearing this, Jennie lowered her head, her cheeks turning a slight shade of red in embarrassment.
Lisa, with a mischievous smirk, extended her hand. "Do you want to take a bath with me?"
Jennie chuckled, "Maybe later. For now, I need to head home, get changed, and pick up groceries. I'll cook for you since I don't have work today, Jisoo let me rest." She playfully squeezed Lisa’s cheeks and began making her way upstairs to gather her things.
However, Lisa swiftly followed, saying, "You don't need to." She entered the room and locked the door behind her.
Jennie, still good-humored, remarked, "Whatever your plan, Lisa, it isn't working."
"Seulgi is coming over. I asked her to buy groceries," Lisa confessed.
Hearing this, Jennie paused, surprised. "Why did you do that?"
Rather than answering, Lisa scratched her head and forced a smile.
Jennie continued, "Does Seulgi know I'm here?"
"Yeah, I told her."
"Alright, then let's wait for her in the living room."
Jennie turned to walk out, but Lisa suddenly grabbed her around the waist, effortlessly lifting her up like a sack of rice.
"Lisa! What are you doing?!" Jennie exclaimed, a mix of shock and amusement in her voice.
Lisa, her grin unyielding, didn't offer an answer. Instead, she carried Jennie into the bathroom and firmly shut the door behind them.
