"I am sorry, V, I shouldn't punched you like that. But you were so headstrong that you were not listening to me.I got enraged." Jennie apologized for her reaction while she put an ice bag on his swollen face.

V winced slightly as the cold ice touched his skin, but his thoughts were far from the pain in his cheek. He stared past Jennie, lost in a whirlwind of emotions and doubts. His silence was heavy, unsettling.

"Why don't you believe me, Jennie?" he asked quietly, his voice tinged with a mix of hurt and confusion. "We've been friends for years. We've been through so much together."

Jennie sighed, her hands pausing. "It's not that I don't believe you, V. It's just... I know Lisa. She never given me a reason to doubt her."

V's expression hardened, and he pushed Jennie's hand away, the ice bag falling to the floor. "You know, sometimes I wonder if you already knew," he snapped, his voice growing louder and more aggressive. "Maybe you already knew about Lisa's relationship with Han Soo Hee, and you’re just covering for her. That's why you're so quick to dismiss everything I say!"

Jennie recoiled, her eyes wide with shock. "What? How can you even say that, V? I had no idea about any of this!"

V stood up abruptly, his fists clenched. "Then why don't you believe me? Why are you so damn blind to what's right in front of you? It feels like you're trying to protect her, to cover up for her lies!"

Jennie stood up, too, tears streaming down her face. "Because we're engaged, V! I love her, and I trust her. You can't just come in here and destroy everything we've built without solid proof."

V’s eyes blazed with frustration. "You’re so naïve, Jennie. Love and trust are important, but they don’t blind you to the truth. If you keep ignoring this, you're going to get hurt."

Jennie looked at him, her eyes revealing a conflict she couldn’t voice. "I know," she mumbled softly. "I can't deal with this right now, V. I need time to think. But please, don't accuse me of something so horrible."

V’s anger faltered for a moment. The intensity of his feelings for Jennie was hard to ignore. He struggled to restrain himself, the conflict tearing him apart inside. He pulled Jennie into a tight hug. "I'm sorry, Jennie. I just... I don't want to see you get hurt. Please, just consider what I'm saying."

Lisa parked her car outside Jennie’s house, feeling the weight of the long day lift slightly at the thought of seeing her. As she approached the front door, she noticed the faint sound of voices coming from inside. Curious, she quietly walked around to the side of the house and peered through the window.

Her heart stopped when she saw V and Jennie in the living room, locked in a heated conversation. She couldn't hear the words, but the tension was palpable. Then, to her utter shock, she saw them engrossed in an intimate embrace.

Lisa's breath caught in her throat, her mind reeling. She stumbled back from the window, her chest tightening with a mix of betrayal and heartbreak. Her vision blurred with tears as she tried to process what she had just witnessed.

Before Jennie could respond, the front door burst open, and Lisa stood there, her eyes filled with a storm of emotions. "What the hell is going on here?" she demanded, her voice shaking with a mix of anger and hurt.

Jennie’s eyes widened, her heart pounding in her chest. "Lisa, it's not what it looks like. V just—"

"Just what?" Lisa cut her off, her voice rising. "Just hugged you? Unbelievable!"

Lisa stormed toward V, fury in her eyes, and grabbed him by his collar. "How could you, V? How could you betray me like this?"

V looked stricken, his face pale. "Lisa, I didn’t mean—"
