ROME

Tatawa-tawa pa ding pumasok ulit sa kwarto nya si Rome after ituro kay Raven kung nasaan ang banyo. Nahiga muna sya sa kama habang naghihintay. Sya naman ang maliligo pagkatapos nito. Hindi pa nya hinuhubad ang pantalon at blouse na suot kanina.

Rome is so thrilled and her lips can't help but curve with smile. She felt intoxicated but it has nothing to do with the cocktail. The thought that Raven's taking shower in her bathroom now and will sleep beside her later pushed her to brink of madness.

Pumasok sa isipan nya ang wet dream nya noon. Her anticipation ignited. She could imagine her lips on Raven's. Ipokrita sya kung sasabihin nyang hindi sya umaasang magiging totohanan ang panaginip na yun. Maybe not tonight, but it will have to happen soon. Patience, patience.

Ano nga ba ang ine-expect nya ngayong gabi? A kiss perhaps? Will Raven kiss her? Nae-excite sya sa possibility na yun. At paano kung halikan nga sya nito? Baka hindi na sya makapagpigil.

"Behave, Rome," natatawa nyang saway sa sarili.

She want to be with Raven. Bitin na bitin ang mga araw at oras na kasama nya ito. Mabuti na lang at pumayag na ihatid sya nito sa bahay. Natutuwa din syang mukhang okay si Raven sa pamilya nya. Of course hindi nila alam yung tungkol sa namamagitan sa kanila nito, pero masaya na syang they like her "friend". 

Hindi din nya mapigilang kiligin at kabahan kanina. Na baka hindi maging warm ang welcome ng pamilya nya kay Raven, pero nawala lahat yun dahil naging smooth ang lahat. Sayang nga lang at hindi na naka-kwentuhan ni Raven ang mga ito. Kunsabagay, kanina pa nya ito gustong masolo.

Nakangiting nakatitig lang sa kisame ng kwarto si Rome habang iniisip si Raven kaya hindi na nya napansing pumasok na pala ito sa kwarto. "May constellation ka pala," putol nito sa iniisip nya. Medyo gulat na nabaling ang tingin nya dito. Nakatingin din ito sa kisame nya. Suot na nito ang shorts at shirt na pinahiram nya. Raven's referring to her glow in the dark stars na nakadikit sa ceiling ng kwarto. "Ano yan? Big Dipper lang at Orion's belt ang nare-recognize ko sa mga stars eh."

"Wala yan. Basta ko lang dinikit. Ayoko kasi ng madilim. Gusto ko may nakikita pa din akong liwanag," Rome explained saka sya tumayo habang nakatingin din sa kisame. "Glow in the dark yan kaso luma na kaya hindi na nagliliwanag."

"You don't have to be afraid of the dark," mahinang sabi ni Raven and Rome felt her breath grazed her ears. She involuntarily shivered. At nang tumingin sya dito, dun nya na-realize that they've been standing so close to each other. Nagtama ang kanilang mga paningin. Just like in her dream, she's suddenly mesmerize with her dark piercing eyes. So mysterious. And those lips are so near...she could practically feel them on hers.

"Patience!" remind ni Rome sa sarili kaya binawi ang tingin kay Raven. "Maliligo muna ako. Ang baho ko na," saka nya mabilis na hinablot ang twalyang pinahiram dito at lumabas ng kwarto.

Thirty minutes din ang itinagal ni Rome sa banyo. The thought of Raven waiting in her room, on her bed fueled her excitement more.

Nagsuot din sya ng maikling shorts at black shirt. Hindi naman nya kailangang magpa-sexy di ba? Baka sabihin ni Raven na inaakit nya ito. She'd like to do that kaso baka mag-freak out yun. Naghahalo talaga ang damdamin nya tonight. Contradicting each other. Hindi nya alam kung anong mangyayari. "Bahala na," isip nya. She took a deep breath and entered her room.

Naabutan nyang nakaupo sa paanan ng kama nya si Raven at nakaharap ito sa cabinet nyang puno ng libro. "Book lover talaga," napangiting isip ni Rome. Hawak na nito ang copy nya ng Bourne Ultimatum.

"Sorry ah, pinakialaman ko na. Hindi ko mapigilan eh. Ang dami mo din palang books," apologetic nitong sabi saka ibinalik ang libro sa cabinet. Raven looks so adorable at para itong bata kapag nakakakita ng books. Her eyes full of enthuisiasm and wonder. Rome almost kissed her.

"Later," she naughtily told herself. "Sa amin ni ate yan. Di ba sabi ko sayo mahilig syang magbasa. I also read pero kapag nasa mood lang. Kapag hindi tinatamad," explained nya. "Tulog na tayo?"

"Sige," and Rome can detect nervousness in Raven's voice. Marahil pareho sila nitong nag-iisip kung anong susunod na mangyayari.

Tinungo ni Rome ang switch at pinatay ang ilaw ng kwarto. She doesn't like the dark but she's with Raven kaya wala syang dapat ikatakot. Ang ilaw lamang sa labas ng bahay ang naging tanglaw nila. Nakikita pa din ang silhouette ng bintana, kurtina at ang kama nya kung saan nakahiga na si Raven.

Rome took another deep breath saka humiga na din sa tabi ni Raven. Hindi sila nagkikibuan. Pareho silang nagpapakiramdaman. Both lying on their backs. Both kept staring at the stars glowing in the ceiling.

Rome knows that Raven won't take the first move. Matagal na nyang sinabi sa sariling she has to take matters into her own hands. Gamit ang kaliwang kamay, dahan-dahan nyang hinawakan ang kanang kamay ni Raven.

They held hands for like forever hanggang sa hindi na natiis ni Rome. Bumangon sya at umupo. Kinakabahan sya sa gagawin. She's taking a big risk. Part of her has been protesting like crazy, to stop whatever she's thinking but she has to follow her heart. Slowly, her lips touches Ravens.

Rome was nearly devastated when Raven just laid there, her lips pursed, her body rigid. But she relaxed when surprisingly Raven began responding to her kisses, and sent involuntary shivers down her body. Her first kiss with a girl shocked her to the very core of her being for it bestowed her a wonderful sensation. She even realized that they now both crossed the line between friendship and love.

Rome thought that the night will end with a kiss but she wanted more especially when Raven began gently biting her lips while both hands are running up and down her back. Her body's on fire and Rome feared that it might consumed them both. She's thankful they are not standing or she'll slide down, her knees felt like Jell-O.

Hinahabol nila ang kanilang hininga pagkatapos ng halik na yun. Rome laid on her back breathing hard. Raven hovered over her and started to kiss her again. Gently at first then she deepened the kiss. Napayakap na lamang si Rome nang mahigpit dito. She doesn't want to let go. Raven's kiss emitted desire and Rome matched it with hers.

Hindi na alam ni Rome ang sumunod na nangyari. She just found herself lying there, naked. Her body screaming desire. Every inch of her craving for attention. Rome knows this is Raven's first time, so with her guide, Raven granted her wishes.

The way Raven gently kissed her neck, her shoulders, down to her breasts, the way she touched her with tender as if she's afraid of hurting her brought her to the edge of insanity. She's delirious with this magnificent experience from Raven. And when Rome thought that she already reached her peak, her body shuddered as Raven brought her to ecstasy.

Yakap ni Rome nang mahigpit si Raven after their make love. Paminsan-minsan nyang hinahagkan sa noo at buhok si Raven. They stayed that way while catching their breaths.

"I love you," maya-maya'y bulong ni Rome dito.

Nag-angat ng paningin nya si Raven at nagtama ang kanilang mga mata. "I love you too."

Sa wakas nasabi din nila sa isa't-isa ng walang alinlangan. Those three words brought pure joy in Rome's heart. "So, tayo na ba?"

"Ayoko ngang maging fuck buddy mo!!!" medyo high-pitch na sabi ni Raven na ikinatawa nya.

"So, tayo na nga?" pagco-confirm ni Rome.

"Oo," sagot ni Raven and they smiled sweetly at each other.

Love and hope reflected in their eyes, drowning apprehensions and doubt. They both know that things will be different, it might even get complicated but they both don't care, for they have each other now. They sealed it with a deep kiss silently promising they will never give up and fight for their love.
