Barty and I were in the middle of washing the green goo off us from one of those stupid Gryffindors pranks in the prefect's bathroom. "Those stupid cunts," Barty muttered, stripping his clothes and stepping into the Olympic-sized bath.
"It's all in my hair," I grimaced, standing in front of the mirror and attempting to brush it out my hair. There was a loud splash as Barty dunked his head under the hot water before he resurfaced and flicked his shaggy brown hair out of his face. "That was fucking brilliant, Prongs!" Black clamoured from down the hall. The large double doors suddenly swung open, revealing the four Marauders with just as much goo over them. But when they saw Barty and me, their smiles dropped.
"Looky, looky," Barty snickered, standing up despite merely being in boxers but he quickly pulled his uniform back on.
"We'll come back later," Remus said, beginning to walk away but Barty flicked his wand, locking the large wooden doors.
"Now, why would you do that?" Barty asked, glancing over at me as I watched what was happening through the mirror, "Lil, how about we show them a taste of their own medicine?"
Barty loved a good fight. I exhaled, turning around to face the six men with nasty glares, "Considering the goo I'm still unable to get out of my hair, then yes."
"What are you two going to do? There's four of us and two fo you." Sirius scoffed in amusement,
"Congratulations, Black, you can count. Maybe you aren't quite as dumb as dog shit," I said with an amused smile. As I said, the only way to prove that I wasn't just a jealous bitch was to be a nasty one. And I didn't need Barty going off and telling everyone I didn't want to rough those Gryffindors around.
But when Mary MacDonald walked into the prefect's bathroom, my intentions only slightly faltered. Though, Barty's did not.
"Come to see the show, mudbloods!?" Barty had a sickening grin on his face.
Mary and Lily both glanced over at me nervously before back at the four boys standing in front of them.
"Lil," Barty turned to me, cocking my head and gesturing for me to use my Animagus to my advantage. James went to raise his wand but Barty was too quick, "Expelliarmous."
Having an eagle as an Animagus came with great advantages.
I sighed, transfiguring into my Animagus and shooting up to the ceiling so they couldn't see me before I dove at speeds too quick for those Gryffindors to realize what was happening. I was back as myself, feet stomping to the ground behind Pettigrew. I grabbed a fistful of his curly blonde hair, yanking it as Sirius turned around with his wand aimed.
I was back as my Animagus, transfiguring back to myself behind Sirius while I hooked an arm around his neck, pulling his muscular back into me. "Too slow," I whispered in his ear before Sirius retaliated, shoving me back with his wand raised,
"Don't speak so soon," He grunted,
I was suddenly behind him once again. I leaned into his ear, forcing myself to my tiptoes to reach it, "I wouldn't dare,"
Sirius spun around and grabbed my wrist so I couldn't move, "How are you doing that?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?"
"Dark magic? Did your uncle teach you it, Cox?"
"No, he didn't." I sneered, trying to shove him away from me but failing,
He leaned into my ear, "Too slow."
"Levicorpus!" Barty shouted at Sirius suddenly.
Sirius spun upside down, his untucked white shirt falling slightly. My eyebrows raised at his new toned abs and tattoos. Last I saw him like that, he was skin and bone with certainly no tattoos. Though all his scars had disappeared too -- that was peculiar.
