Peter and I were the last at the spa. Everyone had stripped down to their undergarments, sitting around it and laughing. "Pete, could you help, I can never unzip this dress," I turned around and lifted my head, letting Peter slide the zipper down my back before he helped the straps off my shoulders. "Thanks," I dropped my hair before pulling my dress down my thighs.
I'd angled myself right in Stephanie's eyeline. The initials carved into my hip, staring right at her. I stepped into the tub, holding onto Remus's shoulder for support and letting him place his hand on my waist to help support me before I slid into the tub.
"So, Lil, where have you been for a month?" James asked,
"I've been around," I shrugged,
"Whereabouts? You're never at your apartment when I come to visit you," Lily swallowed,
"I've spent most of my time at Malfoy Manor,"
Silence followed for a long moment.
"Why have you been at Malfoy Manor?" Remus swallowed,
"To spend as much time possible with my beloved Lucius Malfoy," I scoffed,
More silence.
"I didn't know you got a new tattoo," Lily swallowed, gesturing to the small snake on my ribcage,
"She's had that for months," Sirius said, but immediate regret was plastered over his face.
"How would you know that, Sirius?" Marlene taunted,
"Because," He paused, solidifying his lie, "I did it for her. At the parlour."
"That's actually where we met," Stephanie said,
"Is it just?" Marlene bit her lip. Sirius had told her about that late-night visit of mine.
Remus offered me his drink and I gladly took it, sculling the rest of it,
"Lil, how much have you drunk tonight?" James asked worriedly,
"That's unimportant, Prongs, don't worry 'bout me," I tilted my head back, chuckling to myself,
I turned to her, tilted head, "What do you mean?"
"Your neck." She pointed to where the scar I gave myself was, "That wasn't there before,"
"There's nothing on my neck,"
"The scar, it's massive," Stephanie pried,
I clicked my tongue, placing my elbow on the concrete around us, "Is it? I haven't noticed it before, thank you for pointing it out."
"How'd you get it?"
"I don't know where you found the fucking audacity to ask such an intrusive question nor where you thought it was any of your fucking business, you skank, but I'd like you to quit prying," I snarled,
There went my composure.
"The only person being a bitch is you, Lillian," Sirius finally spoke up,
"Defending your little girlfriend, Black?" I sneered, "Can't she stand up for herself? She's a big girl,"
"You think you're so much better than me, right?" Stephanie interrupted,
I leaned back in amusement.
"Is Sirius that husband of yours?" Stephanie asked,
I turned to her with the biggest fucking grin, "Why don't you ask your boyfriend that question?"
"Why haven't you two divorced yet?"
