But of course, normal never lasted.

Especially with Voldemort still out to find my mother.

Sirius and everyone else were still oblivious to what Mehen and I were planning but it was best that way – I mean, Sirius would flip if he heard I was going to Grimmauld Place. My mother and Walburga used to get along well, she'd know. I knew that heinous bitch knew where my mother was and I was getting an answer out of her.

It was fairly easy to break into the house – it was as cold as ever and I almost wondered if Orion and Walburga had died. Unfortunately, I could hear Orion's snoring from the other room.

It was also extremely easy to walk into their bedroom with my wand drawn. "Mehen," I whispered, letting him slither onto the bed and attack Orion while I hid in the darkness, my wand drawn. Orion screamed out, making Walburga sit up, "Orion!? What's wrong!?" She asked, in a panicked voice,

"S– snake!" He cried out as Mehen hissed aggressively at Orion.

Walburga screamed loudly, scampering out of bed and trying to find her wand which was right beside me. She didn't even see me until I pressed my wand to her neck and flicked my fingers to light a candle.

"Evening," I smiled, snapping my head at Mehen which made him slither over to me,

"Lillian?" Walburga winced, "Wha– what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I just thought it was time I paid a visit." I lowered my wand in confidence.

"Wh– Why?" Walburga tried to find a weapon,

"Scared, are we?" I lit a cigarette calmly, "There's no reason to be scared. I mean, I am just a weak little blood traitor, don't you think?"

"What is that?" Orion grabbed his wand, pointing it at Mehen,

"Expelliarmous," I said, knocking it out of the plump man's hand, "That's Mehen, he's a black mamba – the most venomous snake in the world – So, Orion, you best count your minutes."

"Why are you here?" Walburga cried out,

"Oh, this is funner than I thought it would be – Walburga Black is scared, how amusing."

"Are you going to kill us?"

"I'll leave Sirius up to that, don't you worry one bit." I sneered before lowering my wand calmly, "I just want to talk. And if you talk, I won't let Orion die." I lied.

"Yes, yes, I'll speak." She pleaded,

"Where is Freja?"

"I —" She stammered, "I – I don't know,"

"Liar!" I raised my wand at Walburga, "Tell me where she is or I will kill both of you!"

"I don't know where she is!" Walburga cried,

"Mehen," I hissed, "Kill them,"

Mehen approached Walburga slowly as she sobbed loudly,

"I'll ask you once more before I let my snake have you, where is my mother?"

"Cian!" She finally cried out, cowering as Mehen unlatched his jaw, "She's hiding with – with your father!"

I lowered my wand with a pleased smirk, "And where is Cian, Walburga?"

"I – I can't—!"

"Crucio,"

Walburga screamed out in agony,

"A taste of your own medicine, huh?" I chuckled, "How about you tell me before I murder you."

"Your grandmother's home! That's where they're hiding!" She finally cried out,
