LILLIAN COX'S POV:

Sirius was still in the hotel room as I stood on platform 9 ¾ with Cass. "You'll be safe!?" I shouted over the sound of the Hogwarts Express horn. My hands cupped Cass's cheeks. Cass held onto my wrists, smiling at me, "Yes, Mum! Don't worry about me!"

"Oh, I'll always worry." I kissed her forehead and she wrapped her arms around my back, resting her head on my shoulder.

"Don't grow anymore while you're gone, you're getting too tall." I place my arms around her back, rubbing it gently. "Now, hurry along, Moony is already on the train."

"Dominic told Moony that he has to give me outstanding or else." She looked up at me with a mischievous grin, "But he's already taught me everything for the term. And I know everything about his... condition."

I smiled, pulling away and sighing, "Yes, well, tell no one. Not even Harry."

"I know. I'll never tell."

"Mehen's in your trunk. Let him feed himself, just go with him or he'll get lost. And make sure you don't get caught with him." I reminded,

"Yes, yes." Cass nodded, glancing down at her trunk.

"And you'll be safe from Sirius. Moony and McGonagall will not let him hurt you or Harry."

"I know." She swallowed, glancing over at Dominic who stood beside me, smiling. She wrapped her arms around Dominic's torso, giving him a big hug which he returned, kissing her head. "Don't get into too much trouble, eh? Moony'll catch ya and you'll be stuck in detention."

"Dominic's right. Moony used to give me hundreds of detentions when he was a prefect." I grinned, making Cass chuckle.

"Of course, I'll stay out of trouble." She shook her head.

"Cassie! Hurry up!" Harry shouted,

"Okay!" Cass replied before turning back to us, "He keeps calling me Cassie."

"James called you Cassie – annoyed the hell out of us too." I patted her shoulder, "I love you."

"I love you too!" She raced off onto the train. Dominic wrapped an arm around my shoulder but I tried to pry it off as Cass stuck her head out of the window to wave. I blew her a kiss and she caught it in her palm, placing her hand on her cheek before chasing after her friends.

"Her second year." Dominic sighed, watching the train begin to roll against the tracks. "Time really does go fast."

I pressed my lips together, "I wonder how fast it would've gone with everyone else."

"We made do." He sighed, rubbing my shoulder, "Come on, let's head back."

"I've got to go grab my things from the hotel." I yawned,

"You need help?"

"No – No, it's okay,"

"Alright, well, I've got to be at the clinic so I'll see you tonight?"

"Sounds like a plan," I said, apparating back to the hotel where Sirius paced. His eyes lit up at the sight of me, beginning to take a step closer to me before seizing his movements.

"I packed your suitcase for you," Sirius said, gesturing to the trunk on the end of the bed.

"Thank you," I whispered, lifting it up off the bed before apparating us back to America.

Felice was in the kitchen, cooking like she loved to do, "Evening, love!" She spun around to give me a smile but it immediately dropped at the sight of Sirius beside me.
