Chapter 61: For You

It was only two days after 'I NEED U's first win... It was 10:30am and I was currently enjoying a nice hot coffee at home on my day off. I've been revising my heart out all morning, preparing for the massive wave of exams I have coming just around the corner.

However I was drawn away suddenly by a call from Jimin... I already knew they were at another showcase today... so this call would probably either be good news or Bad news...

"Jimin-ie?" I answered cautiously.

"Y-y/n" my heart crumbled into dust to hear my precious Jimin in tears... his voice breaking and quivering in a whispered sob... and I instantly panicked.

"Jimin!! Baby! what's wrong?!" My eyes bulged as I begged him to tell me more.

"Ah don't worry beautiful I'm o-okay" he giggled through his sniffles. "I wanted to let you know Baby we w-we won again" he was trying not to well up again, but me, I was over the moon!

"YESSSS!!!" I screamed slamming the table over and over in excitement.

"I- I can't-" he sniffled, breathing in and out to control his emotions "I can't believe we won more than once" he admitted weakly.

"what do you mean!!???!!! You guys made a masterpiece of course it's gunna win more than once!!!" Jimin giggled at my excessive screaming.

"It's crazy.. I can't believe it all paid off you know... and also! I- I just wanted to thank you Y/n, for never doubting us" he sighed catching his breath "It means a lot that you always believe in us"

"of course chim chim! I don't just blindly support you guys, I truly believe you guys are absolutely beyond brilliant!! Every award you get you deserve, and I'm so so happy that you're finally getting the proof!!!" I gushed with the brightest smile.

"thank you Y/n-ie, ahh, my angel can I see you? I m-mean can you turn on your camera?? Please"

"of course chim chim"

I quickly pulled my phone away, changing our chat from a call to facetime.

The first thing I saw was Jimin's wet cheeks, red eyes all puffy from crying.

"ahh Y/n, you look so beautiful" Jimin cracked after just as much as seeing my smile. His face fell into his hand like he wanted to cry again making me laugh out load.

"pahaha chim chim noooo, don't cry"

"ah-" he pulled his hand away from his face looking up and forcing his tears to soak back into his eyes.

"chim chim... wait why are you wearing that lipstick?!" I giggled in confusion after spotting the bright red strain smudged at the top of his lip.

"ah well" he chuckled "it was a celebration if we won... you'll see on the next bangtan bomb"

"yess!!! I wanna see that so bad!!! Ah jimin-ie I'm sorry I couldn't be there in person"

"no no, don't you worry, you've got studying to do! Anyway, how's it coming?" Jimin sniffed, seeming to have pulled himself together.

"UGH I'm gunna fail" I giggled. "but it's okay, I'll do my best"

"that's my girl! Never give up okay?"

"then maybe one day I'll be as successful as my heroes BTS right??" I giggled at him.

"oh shush you-" he giggled back at me, sighing heavily at my teasing. "I ah- I also wanted to thank you for... for the other night" My smile fell at the tone of his voice, I knew exactly what he was talking about.
