Chapter 23: Autumn lullaby

Being back with the boys felt like nothing had changed at all, only now I didn't have to go to school. I would spend most of this week just following the boys around while they practiced and had their performances. I had already taken back my role of working for BIGHIT, even though it would only be for a week, I wanted to help. In between their work we would spend every second we could laughing with each other. Most of the time we would be clinging to each other, knowing we were all a little bit touch starved.

I had finally found a moment alone In the BANGTAN room, usually I'd be rushing to be with the boys, but right now I had a mission to complete.

I trekked down the long corridors of the BIGHIT building with one thing on my mind. I stopped outside Bang's office and proceeded to knock on the door with furious intent.

"Hello?" After the all clear I peeked my head through from behind the door and gave my biggest toothy smile.

"Hello"

"Y/N! ahh it's good to see you kid, I'm glad you're here I was meaning to come find you today to welcome you back" I continued my grin as I walked up to the happy man who's arms were already wide in a greeting hug.

"It's good to see you too Sir, I've missed this place dearly... umm I was wondering if I could talk to you about the boys for a second?" My tone changed from joy to seriousness while Bang's face turned to surprise.

"Yes of course, is everything alright? They're not being mean or anything to you right?" I laughed at the impossible-ness of that statement; I couldn't imagine a world where that could be possible.

"No, No, nothing like that... I just want to talk about something I heard the other day..."

"Yes, go on" deep breath.

"I heard that BIGHIT is going through some money problems... and that it's a possibility that BTS can't continue" Bang's face shifted into sadness before taking a long breath.

"Yes, it's true... we have been struggling a little bit." Bang strode around the room as he spoke collecting a large folder from one of his side cabinets. "You see we use to manage a girl group at BIGHIT way before BTS was even thought about. One of the members was quite reckless and is now indebted to us a lot of money" He sat down beside me with the folder opening it to reveal the said group. "A lot of money. So, the company suffered... but BTS is our last chance, our last chance for success" He took the folder back and placed it on the floor. "Don't worry Y/N, we're not giving up on them yet. We'll just have to be clever about how we use our money" He gave a reassuring smile, everything was going to be okay, but I had to be sure of it.

"Talking about money... You know the boys future is very important to me, I believe they could be incredible and I want to do everything in my power to help them get there" He seemed to agree with me, but his expression seemed to change as I proceeded to take out a small piece of paper from my pocket. "I want to give you this, for them, so that they never have to worry about not having enough again." In my hands I held a check for £9,000, Bang PD looked at me like I was crazy, but I stopped him before he could speak. "I know it's not a lot, but it's all I have, I just can't stand the thought of the guys not being able to reach their dream"

"Y/N I can't take that... that's your money, that needs to go towards your future, your dream!" He spoke firmly, like a father, there was no way he was going to accept it, though I spoke just as firm.

"I know, but it's my choice... THEY are my dream" He looked at me with what I could only distinguish as sorrow mixed with admiration.
