I didn't sleep well last night, actually I've been having a lot of difficulty sleeping every night since I moved to Korea. I think its just because I'm a little home-sick and still a little jet-lagged.

Getting up was hard today but I was excited for my walk to school. I wanted to see Jungkook again, seeing him was the one thing I was really looking forward to, hopefully fate would let us bump into each other again.

I had Sports again today, so I was back again holding my books in my arms as I walked to school. Sooner or later I was going to have to wash my uniform and I hadn't seen a washing machine in the Ghim's house yet. Which probably meant that I was going to have to find a launderettes in town, the idea filled me with anxiety.

As I turned the corner onto BIGHIT's street I prayed a little that Jungkook would be there again like he had been yesterday. My heart fell a bit when I saw he was no-where to be seen, but its okay, I'm sure ill see him soon... I hope I see him soon, its starting to feel like he's the only friend I have in this country...well that's because he kind of is.....

I've been walking for 5 minutes down this road, subconsciously walking slower than normal in hopes of seeing my only friend come out from behind a car. I could see the BIGHIT building in front of me and sighed in sadness, yeah I wouldn't see him today.

As if God could hear my pain I suddenly heard my name being called from behind me. It was a little meek but quite clear. I turned around to see Jungkook's little smile as he ran forward, catching up with me. I couldn't hide my ear to ear smile as he finally reached me giving him the happiest hello I've ever heard from myself.

"I tried calling you on the phone but your phone was off"

"I'm sorry, I never really turn it on" I said, smile still intact.

"then what's the point of having a phone" he says with a giggle as he caught his breath and matched my walking pace.

"it's to call my mum" I said with a little whine "It kills the battery if I leave it on all day"

"oww but I want to talk to you"

I couldn't help it when my heart exploded with sunshine from his sentence, shining all the way up my body through my smile and eyes.

"Really?"

"of course... you're really fun to talk to"

This was the best day ever.

"Thankyou, you're really fun to talk to as well"

We both had radically warm blushes at that point, avoiding eye contact as we shuffled closer and closer to BIGHIT. I realized then that we only had a few seconds left to talk before we had to split. Before I could think of something to say Jungkook spoke, voice a little shaky.

"Y/N...is it okay if ....maybe you could please... be my friend"

I swear, I nearly started sobbing, but my face was too busy busting out the biggest grin I have ever produced. I desperately wanted to hug him but I thought that would be weird and a little too much it might scare him off.

"I would love to be your friend"

"Really, great!, thanks" he seemed all sorts of nervous, looking everywhere else but me, but I could see in his eyes he was very happy.

We had already arrived at his building by the time he finished talking, I was reluctant to say goodbye when he asked me something.

"Do you want to maybe hang out today after school?"
