It was Tuesday, the day of the big science test... and I wasn't feeling good. Sonnie and I had been stressed over this dreaded day all week, but this morning I was prepared to abandon the education system all together.
The guys were trying to make me feel better at the breakfast table, but with the way my nerves were churning like butter inside of me, I couldn't eat a single thing.
"come on sweet girl, eat your cereal." Jin frowned as he walked past, stroking his palm against my shoulder as he went.
"I can't!" I kicked out my foot to show my distress. "... I'm too nervous to eat."
"why petal? you have nothing to worry about."
"But I'm dumb Joonie!! I'm gunna fail for sure."
"no you won't Y/n-ie!" Taehyung fought with me, but I was a stubborn lass.
"Yes I will!!! I just know it."
"what are you talking about chicken?!" Hobi laughed leaning over to grab my hand. "You're the smartest girl I know."
"Hobi, I'm the ONLY girl you know." I laughed back.
"No you're not! I have a sister!" he stated proudly.
"duddde you just dissed your sister, Y/n is actually an idiot." Jungkook smirked and I yelled back at him, highly offended.
"Heyyy!!"
"okay, okay you know I didn't mean it." Jungkook laughed, coming over to back hug me over my chair. "Y/n you literally help me with all my homework."
"but that's with English and stuff... not with science." I moped.
"you'll be fine little one, you studied too much to fail." Yoongi patted my hand softly.
"hyung is right." Jimin smiled. "and if you fail, we'll just order takeout tonight."
"huh? REALLY?!" My eyes lit up.
"uhuh." Jimin nodded goofily and all of a sudden I was feeling a lot better.
"you promise?"
"yes beautiful, we promise." Jimin snickered and that was enough for me to have my whole mood take a sudden shift.
"Well then!! I better get going!! This test isn't going to fail itself." I laughed as I got myself up and ready to go.
"YAH!" Namjoon howled at my words. "I didn't promise anything! You better not fail on purpose today young lady!!"
"classic y/n, only motivated by food." Jungkook sighed, but I ignored him, because well... he was kind of right.
"I'm surprised you didn't offer her sexy times." Taehyung teased and I had to scowl at him before running over to pinch his cheek and make him a giggling mess.
"what was that?" I inquired with a raised brow.
"ah nothing, nothing." He smiled all toothy up at me, as innocent as a flower.
"hmm... alright, I'll let you go just this once." I smirked, leaning down to give his forehead a kiss before moving away. "right then, I'll see you later guys!! Love you!!"
"love you darling!" Jin called.
"good luck petal!"
