Chapter 5: BIGHIT

Finally, it was about time that I felt like coming here was a good decision. It looked like I was finally settling in and making friends. Jungkook was going to be an amazing friend, I could tell. Even though he is older than me, he still has this 'little brother' aura around him. He looks so innocent and sweet, with those huge sparkly eyes, he looks like a puppy.

He's a little shy still, so I hope maybe one day he might let me break down that wall so we can become close friends. I might be getting ahead of myself there, but I'm just so excited! I've never really had a guy friend before. I've always had girl best friends, though I found it natural to talk to anyone in primary school, talking to boys seems to get more difficult as you grow. However now, I seem to find myself completely alone, all my old friends still in the UK, I kind of miss them, no I miss them a lot. But I know I'll see them in the summer, so I know I won't be losing them forever.

This morning passed better than previous ones, I kept to myself while getting ready for school, all the while with the biggest smile on my face. I could tell it was bothering the Ghims just a little bit, but they soon lost interest in their curiosity and went back to their breakfasts.

I was practically skipping to school today, I really want today to go as quick as possible, so I can see Jungkook. As if on que he turned the corner just in front of me, he was carrying a plastic bag, he must've just been to the shops.

"JUNGKOOK" I may have said that a little too enthusiastic as it made even myself flinch. But he seemed unaffected by it and turned matching my blinding grin.

"HEY" We giggled at each other as he copied my loud booming voice and I ran to join him his pace.

"Sorry, I'm just so excited for today"

"Me too, I was just buying us some snacks for later"

"oooooh what'd ya get?"

"you'll see..." He looked quite proud of himself, I only giggled, I'd let him have his mysteries.... for now.

I was still curious about his hyungs, I was going to meet them today, it was actually quite terrifying...

"So, do your hyungs know I'm hanging out with you today?"

"Oh yeah, I told them about you and a few of them really wanted to meet you so I told them I'd introduce you"

"ooooh what did you say about me???" I asked in a teasing tone looking up to him for the first time. He seemed to shy away from my action with a bashful smile and a tilt of his head.

"oh nothing...just that you tried to poison me" he retaliated with a cheeky smirk which quickly left as he saw my big smile, which he matched.

"heyyy, that was a jokeee" I whined, he was giggling at me with his eyes crinkled and disappearing, I couldn't help but feel so grateful for him.

"I know, Tae and Jimin hyung seemed to really respect you for that, we all kind of mess with each other at home"

"Aww I'm so jealous that you get to live with your friends" I said a little sad but not letting go of the happiness I had for him in my voice.

"yeah, its good...How is it at your house?" he seemed to ask a little unsure, like it was a touchy subject or something. I tired to keep it 'matter of fact' like when I answered.

"It's fine, Mr and Mrs Ghim are alright, they give me breakfast and dinner and a bed to sleep in. But we don't really talk much"

"they must care about you if they want you to ask permission to do things with friends..."
