I was a little sad that day walking home from school, thinking about how fun it would be if that boy I met today actually went to my school. I think it would've been really fun, I would have had someone to talk to In class and laugh with at lunch. Instead I spent most of today alone again, which was okay, but I just wished I had a friend or at least someone I could talk to about how uneasy I was feeling. But I don't want to give up hope yet, I just got here.

Dinner was the same as yesterday, an apple and a small portion of kimchi stew with a side of complete silence. I expected no real change to take place as the weeks went on, so I was happy when I could escape back to my room right after cleaning my plate.

....

Morning came too fast and I was desperate to sleep in, but I knew I had to get up for my own good. If I missed breakfast, I'd be hungry for ages till lunch.

I ate my bowl of cereal before washing up, getting my stuff, and jumping out the door.

I hoped to see that boy again, even though I can't really remember his name I still really miss him. After walking for a good 20 minutes I turned a corner onto the street where I met him, and his work building was located. My eyes couldn't believe it, there he was, just walking like 18 steps ahead of me. I desperately wanted to call out to him, but I can't remember his name, God I hate my memory.

Maybe I should just say hey, it wouldn't hurt...but what if he doesn't remember me. What if he frowns, like he doesn't want to see me or finds me annoying.

Omg...why... he's turning around, should I turn around too? No that's stupid.

We locked eyes as his head peered over his shoulder, we both looked a bit scared for a second before I smiled up at him and he smiled back in pleasant surprise. He stopped walking for a bit allowing me to catch up with him as he stared at his shoes. I matched his posture as I walked to him, He said hey as I'm a few steps away, I looked up to see his sweet smile again.

"Hey"

"Its nice to see you again"

"yeah, you too"

It made me giggle inside a bit at how awkward and formal we were both talking. There was a small silence before he spoke again.

"Are you walking to school?"

"Yeah...did the bright yellow Blazer give it away?" I replied with a cheeky smile.

"Just a little......actually I go to that school too"

"Really?! I've never seen you"

"It's because I only go a couple times"

"Oh yeah, I remember...you're a working man"

He giggled a bit at that.

"Next time I attend, I'll be sure to look for you"

"really? That would be great!..... I'd actually have someone to talk to"

He looked a bit shocked.

"really? People don't talk to you? but you're great"

"Pffft Thanks, I guess I'm just a bit shy" I said a little quieter as I kicked my feet a little as we walked.

"I can relate to that, I'm not really the best around girls, I was even shy around my friends the first time I met them. I would always wait till they had gone to bed before I would shower"

"you live with your friends? That's so cool!"

"Yeah, they're my hyungs, we all work together"

"Wow...so what exactly is your job?"
