Chapter 6: Intimidation

Jungkook and I had been sitting with Jimin and Taehyung for 10 minutes listening to the story of how they met. I learnt that Jimin and Tae go to school together after Jimin transferred to his school to be closer to BIGHIT. It made me rather jealous, thinking about all the fun we could've had if they attended my school or myself at theirs.

"ahhh why couldn't I go to your school!" I whined a little, which caused the rest to giggle.

"It's okay Y/N, we can hang out after school, that's much more fun anyway. Besides, you go to the same school at Jungkook-ie" I hadn't even noticed the slight jealousy in Jungkook's eyes.

"But Jungkook never comes in" I whine once again, trying to make it up to him that I also craved his friendship too. "I'm always so alone in school, why" I playfully wiped my hands on his arms as a pathetic slap in attempt to make him giggle, which luckily worked.

"Okay, I'm coming in soon Y/N-ie and I promise I'll spend the whole day with you" he had on a sweet smile while looking down at the floor but when he finished the sentence he looked up into my eyes.

"Really?! Yaaaaaaay!" I cheered as he giggled at the look of happiness on my face.

The boys and I stayed seated together for a while, joking around telling me stories about how they met. They told me just how shy Jungkook used to be, that he would cry whenever he was asked to sing.

"We couldn't believe it when Jungkook told us about you, because he's usually so scared around girls"

"It's probably because I'm not intimidating at all, I had fallen over the first time he met me. I think he felt pity for me" I laughed at my own comment trying to disguise my true feelings that Jungkook probably wasn't intimidated by me because I'm not pretty.

"Actually, I was intimidated by you at first...."

"haha Really?! Why?" The room seemed to get a little silent after my question as Jungkook had turned a shade pinker. I was shocked to be honest; he shouldn't feel that way, I'm no one special. Both Jimin and Taehyung started laughing at Jungkook's reaction to my question.

"Awww Jungkook-ie, it's okay girls are scary" I think Jimin was trying to help his friend out as he wrapped an arm around Jungkook's shoulder.

"Ahh I get you; my face is pretty scary to look at" I said in attempt to make a joke but was stopped by Jimin.

"That's not it, apparently it's the opposite, according to Jungkook your eyes are the most- "

"HYUNGGggg stoppp" Jungkook whined loudly pushing his friend onto the floor, Jimin did nothing but laugh. I was at a standstill...he thought my eyes where the most what!? Terrifying? piercing? bulging? Ugly?... This was going to kill my brain. Or was Jimin making this whole thing up? Either way I didn't know what to say.

"Jimin's just joking Y/N" Taehyung turned to me in a reassuring manner, also throwing another push towards the still amused Jimin.

"Oh, what did Jimin do this time?" I turned my head to see a new face that had just entered the conversation. I didn't hear the door open, so he must've been one of the people in the corner who was talking to the female staff.

"Just teasing everyone like usual" Taehyung answered happily. "Hoseok hyung, this is Y/N, Jungkook's friend" He had already been looking at me for most of the time he's been standing with us, still maintaining eye contact as he sat down next to me.

"Ah yeah he said you were coming today, it's nice to meet you Y/N" He smiled at me with such a bright heart smile, showing off his teeth. Out of all the boys so far, he was the most intimidating as well as probably the tallest. I was a little shy but tried my best to give a good first impression.
