Chapter 36: The date

I can't really believe what happened last night, or more so... what I let happen last night.

Hoseok had asked me on a date, with all of them... but it can't be a real date, no, no, that would be strange, they meant as friends...right?

After accepting the dare with an awkward laugh, the boys and I agreed to go on our 'date' after filming tomorrow.

Unsure and confused, that's how I felt today...

I fumbled with my fingers as we arrived on set, which happened to be a basketball court.

"wow Y/n..." Jungkook mumbled eyeing me up and down.

"morning kookie" I smiled, my vibrant yellow sundress flowing down to my mid-thighs. I knew we would be going on our date sometime after the shoot...so I wanted to look good...for them.

"morning miss. Sunshine" Hoseok beamed rushing over to give me a big hug. The others weren't doing a good job of hiding their lingering gazes, I flushed a bit seeing their eyes scanning over me.

"ay Y/n, you look good!" Tony smiled from the side, automatically I let out a giggle and a short thank you, the reaction apparently not pleasing a fair few of the boys. "come on, let's get started"

This episode was simple, the boys would be playing basketball with Tony and Nate, it was a nice thing to do on a lazy Sunday like today.

Tony and Nate were captains as they went around choosing their teammates. Tony chose Jimin, Jungkook and Jhope, while Nate chose Suga, V and Jin. It was known that Suga was a humble talent when It came to basketball, so I knew from the get-go he would be the one to beat. With Namjoon as the ref, the game started.

I sat down to the side of the fence, just out of shot of the camera as I watched the game. I kind of regretted wearing a dress today, I crossed my legs hoping to remain at least decent and not accidentally flash anybody.

When the game started, I was glued, the tension was high, and the competitiveness was through the roof. By the time Tony dunked a basket with such ease I knew the others were in trouble, but not too much trouble... I smiled sweetly watching Hoseok try to dunk even one basket, every time it bounced away miserably, but still their team was doing pretty well.

However, my thoughts were completely shattered when Yoongi scored a 3 pointer, my heart let out a hard thump at the sight, high-five-ing his teammates like it was nothing. My eyes were saucepans as I stared at him utterly impressed, he spared me a few glances smirking a little as he saw my mouth gaping wide open.

Due to the scorching heat, it wasn't long before all the boys started to sweat... lord save me. I felt like I was watching something illegal. All their golden skin starting to stick to their clothes, hair turning wet and dripping down their faces.

Jimin was by far the hardest to look away from, he was practically glowing, his arms bare thanks to his tank top. Every so often he would stick his tongue out to wipe off the sweat, the action causing me to shift a little at the weird feeling it caused me.

When Hoseok finally landed a basket, I let out a deafening roar of applause.

"YESSS JHOPE!!!" he laughed at me as I waved my arms in the air, like some crazy cheerleader.

Something in the other team seemed to shift as Yoongi, V and Jin started playing like they were actual professionals. They managed to rack up quite a few points till the ball came bounding over to me after bouncing off the hoop. Picking it up in my hands, I sat on my knees as I reached out to give it back to a worn out Jin.
