Chapter 39: Burning

"baby~" I let out a sour whine at the beautiful voice rudely waking me from my warm cocoon of happiness.

"darling~" I grumbled a bit more, making it clear that this was a warning to not disturb my slumber.

"darling, it's time to get up now" I could feel a hand slowly stroking my cheek and curling over my chin as the voice spoke from above me. I only hummed in pleasure at the soft touch, which seemed to please them as their weight became heavier on me.

There was a moment silence before soft air was being blown into my right ear. I flinched at the feeling, the tickle sending goosebumps appearing across my arms. It was making me re-gain consciousness, which I didn't like, I remembered now that it was Jin disturbing my slumber. With another grumble I reached up to where I could feel his neck, wrapped my arms around tight and pulled him down softly till we were all snuggled up again. "darling! I'm too heavy" he chuckled into my ear as he lay on top of me.

"I don't care" I growled out, bringing my legs around his torso, wrapping around him like a monkey on a branch. The feeling of him giggling in my ear was heavenly, however I was disturbed once again as I could feel him shifting a little above me. His arms were slowly making their way under my back wrapping around tightly before all at once he was pulling me up. I let out a scared chirp as he lifted us into a vertical position, now finding myself sitting on his bent knees.

"come on baby, time for breakfast" he started to shift once again, moving his forearm to cup my butt for support as the other held my back. Then quickly he was lifting me higher, crawling off the bed and then slowly making his was out the room. Opening my eyes for the first time I caught sight that all the others were still asleep.

Instead of placing me down on a counter or even on my feet, he decided rather to just sit down on one of the only chairs in the kitchen. Still I remained wrapped around his waist, lifting my head slightly he smiled cheerfully as he started to rub the sleep out of my eyes.

"sleep well Y/n-ie?" his smile was cocky and knowing, he knew I fell asleep like a log last night.

"mmhmm" I nodded "you make a good pillow" I smirked making him laugh. "but seriously, thankyou... I- I don't think you realize how much you helped me last night" I smiled warmly, it was true, I hadn't slept that well in months. For him just to lay there beneath me and have it affect me like I had taken some sort of drug...it was insane... but I was so thankful.

"Happy to help my darling" his smile was brighter than the morning sunrise.

"what time it is Jin-ie?" I mumbled.

"6:00" he smiled evilly.

"what!? I still have half an hour more of sleep!!" I whined pathetically.

"hehe sorry darling, I just wanted to have some alone time with you" I huffed out once, shoving my head back into the crook of his collarbone, desperate for sleep to greet me once again. "don't be mad Y/n-ie... Hey, hey, stay awake for me baby" he giggled pulling me back a little, but I wasn't having it, instantly plunging back into his other side. Which only seemed to make him laugh more, though that stopped in his throat once I had grabbed a handful of his hair, was running my nails through it, and pulling slightly. "careful baby" he spoke breathlessly. Only now could I feel just how hot he had become, practically searing at the touch.

"why Jin-ie?" I mumbled into his skin, which caused a tense reaction as he squeezed my waist a little too hard.

"bad stuff may happen" He sighed into my hair.
