Chapter 77: Butterfly

WAAAAAAAA I'm so excited for this chapter hahahahah, I hope you enjoy too! it feels good to be back!!

"good morning! And Happy October my loves!" I cheered as I entered the kitchen, which was quite out of character for me this early in the morning.

"morning beautiful, what's got you in such a good mood?" Namjoon chuckled while accepting a kiss from me.

"Well, mr. Namjoon, I'll tell you... today is the day your album's prologue comes out! MEANING that I can finally hear all the songs you have so RUDELY hidden from me." I sassily expressed, letting my excitement known to the room as I dashed to get my morning coffee.

"you'll only get to hear teasers, it's not the whole album." Yoongi snorted back at me.

"I know... but still, I can't believe you haven't showed me them all yet!" I moped in a pout.

"Don't worry cutie, this is what we've been waiting for." Jin smiled up at me from his seat and he reached to fondle a hand against my lower back.

"waiting for?" my eyebrows furrowed. "what's about to happen?" I asked kind of fearfully.

"well... you'll see butterfly." Namjoon smiled softly, but there was something behind it, a knowing of something that I didn't.

"right... well... anyway, I'm gunna watch it right now!" I continued to huff as I got out my phone.

"play it out loud y/n-ie." Jungkook smiled happily as he inched his chair a little closer.

"sit next to me bean-ie." Taehyung too was smiling wide as he pulled me softly into the seat beside him.

They all seemed to lean forward in their seats, big warm smiles encapsulating their faces as they watched me find the new video. Honestly, it made me a little nervous, especially since Bang let slip their song entitled 'butterfly' that they have hidden from me so adamantly.

I was scared this video would play it... that today was the day... but I don't know why I was so scared.

With a wobbly hand I pressed onto the video titled 'Onstage:Prologue'.

I listened to the beautiful piano melody and watched V's character wash blood off of his hands.

"wooow so cool Tae tae." Which obviously made the sweet boy smile wide and toothy. "gwaaa the acting!!" I ruptured with a goofy grin.

However my smile would soon fall when another soft piano melody entered my ears, one which seemed to freeze me over. It was slightly eery, but even more beautiful and I wondered what song this tune was connected to.

"waa this is so beautiful." I whispered as I continued to watch. "waa since when did you all become such good actors." I teased, but none of the boys around me responded, they just sat there smiling... as if waiting for something.

Though I wouldn't have to wait long to find out why, as after the music grew to it's pinnacle, it was then that the word "Butterfly" Was sung for the first time, and my whole being froze solid.

My head snapped up to meet the eyes of the boys around me, just as Jimin's sweet voice sung out "Just like a butterfly."

This was it... this was the song I had been waiting for...
