You sighed while looking at the message you just got from Jeonghan.

An urgent meeting came up. I'm sorry we can't have lunch together :(

It's okay, Jeonghan, we can have lunch next time

Jeonghan:
Don't skip lunch, okay? Do you want me to order anything for you? I can ask Mr. Kim to send it to you

I'm finee we can have lunch tomorrow or whenever

You can only look at the message in disappointment. You were anticipating having lunch with Jeonghan since he promised to bring you to the Italian restaurant that you liked.

But it's not like he ditched on purpose. He was the CEO and an important person.

Your mood to have lunch is not as excited as you were before, so you just decided to stay in the office. Probably you'll pack takeaway food or something on the way back home for dinner.

The office was empty like it usually was during lunchtime, and you couldn't be bothered. You were sulking the entire time while typing on your keyboard.

"Ms. Y/n," a voice called out for you, and you were so startled.

"God, you scared me, Mr. Kim!" You put a hand on your chest to relax. Mr. Kim chuckled, seeing your horrific face earlier.

"Mr. Yoon asked me to pass you this food," he handed a plastic of food.

"Thank you and sorry for troubling you so often," you said after taking the food, and you felt guilty for having him sending food to you almost every day. Maybe you should ask Jeonghan to stop doing this.

"It's not a problem. I'll get going now," he excused himself and went away.

You look into the plastic and saw a can of coke and the mushroom pasta that you like from the Italian restaurant that you both planned to go to.

Your phone vibrated, and you look at the message from someone you already predicted.

Jeonghan:
I knew you would skip lunch

You felt butterflies inside after reading the message and were typing a reply, but suddenly there was an incoming call.

Incoming call from Jeonghan...

You didn't waste any time and pressed the green button to answer the call.

"Are you eating your food?" The first question that Jeonghan asked as soon as the line was connected.

"I was about to," you said while smiling.

"I'm sorry for not having lunch with you like I said I would," he apologized to you. You can feel how sorry he is from the tone of his voice.

"It's okay, Jeonghan," you tried to assure him.

"I can hear from your voice and know that you're sulking y/n," when he said that, you realized that you were pouting and immediately pressed your lips together.
