You didn't dare even to speak anything when Jeonghan was driving. He looks tense, different from how he acts earlier that morning.

"Where are we?"

You asked Jeonghan as soon as the car stopped in front of a big house.

"My parent's house," he replied with a heavy sigh, inviting a surprise to you.

"What? Why?"

He took your hand in his and looked at you while ruffling his hair.

"I just need to do this for us,"

He caressed your cheeks and placed a kiss on your forehead.

"Can you trust me on this one?"

You nodded, and he gave you a small smile. Both of you got out of the car and walked towards the front door.

As soon as Jeonghan knocked, a middle-aged woman opened the door and a smile formed as quickly as she saw the person at the door.

"Mr. Jeonghan! Goodness, it's been a long time since I saw you," she said excitedly and opened the door wider so both of you could step inside.

"Hi aunty, it's good to see you. Is mom and dad home?"

Jeonghan asked her while looking around, and she pointed at the living room.

"Yes, yes, they're at the living room,"

He nodded and pulled your hand to follow him.

"I'll put this in the rooms upstairs,"

The woman said while dragging both luggage towards the stairs.

"Put both bags in my room, please,"

Jeonghan then walked with you into the living room, where you saw a man and a woman sitting on the couch, which you assume was his parents.

"Mom,"

Jeonghan stands in front of his mom with a smile. His mom was surprised to see him and immediately stood up to hug him.

"Jeonghan, darling!"

"Dad," Jeonghan bowed to show respect, but you could see how tense it was between the both of them.

"I missed you!"

She hugged Jeonghan again and kissed both his cheeks.

"Mom, you're embarrassing me,"

He scratched the back of his neck while looking at you. His mom followed Jeonghan's eyes that finally landed on you, who was awkwardly watching the whole scene.

"Is she your friend?"

Jeonghan walks to you and brings you closer to his mom.

"Mom, Dad, this is y/n,"

He then intertwined his hands with yours and took a deep breath.

"My girlfriend,"

Your eyes widen at the title you just heard the first time.

"Your girlfriend?"

"Yes, and I do not want to be with Yerin," Jeonghan continued, tightening his grip on your hand.
