Chapter 30

Head held high, we enter the hotel for the event.

I made sure to emmit a classy elegant aura.  I am sure that old mans family is here as well. I am talking about my good of a father.

Head turned to us. Some brows rose up as they saw me clinging in Yvo's arm. I fight the urge to roll my eye at them.

Congratulatory welcomed him. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag ng mahiwalay ako sa kanya.

Nilibot ko ang paningin ko. Gold and black is the events theme. Rich, powerful bussiness men and women are the guesses.

On one glance I spotted Niel coming towards me. I smiled at him. He looks neatly handsome in his suit.

"Hey Kit, looking good." bati niya.

"You too." I answered.

Kumunot ang noo niya na tila may ianalala.

"Tell me if that Yvo is still bugging you." Umiling ako.

"I'm okay, don't worry. Sinusunod ko lang ang boss ko."

Tumango siya saka ako hinila kung saan. We ended up in his table where his parents where seated.

"Hija, nandito ka pala?" Tita Nella hugged me before we seated beside them.

"Yes tita, I work for Cruz Corporation as a secretary." I answered bago nagmano sa kanila ni tito Randell. Niel parents knew me and they are very kind loving parents to Raniel.

"Bakit ba kasi hindi ka na lang magtrabaho kay Niel iha, for sure Niel would be very happy." Tita Nella said teasingly.

I just smile. Sanay na ako kay tita Nella, she always ship me with Niel.

"Mom you're at it again." Niel said annoyed na tinawanan lang ng mag asawa.

"What iho? If I am to be asked, bagay na bagay kayo ni Kit. It's also time to have a child." naubo si Niel at pakiramdam ko naman ay namula ang mukha ko. God! I can't even imagine. Humagikhik si tita na parang bata.

"Ow.. you two are cute! Kit iha don't you find my son handsome?"

I pouted and peek at Niel, agad naman siyang nag iwas ng tingin. I smirked before nodding. Well Raniel is handsome but I feel platonic love for him.

"He's handsome tita." she giggled even more. Natigil lang kami ng magsalita ang MC.

"Goodevening everyone present here today! We gather today to celebrate the Y.V firms success in achieving it's anniversary. In this juncture may we call on Mr. Reeveo Emmanuel Yvaroa, the Chief Executive Officer of Y.V firm to present us his welcoming speech."

Laod applause filled the air as Yvo went up to stage. He seriously held the microphone. I admit he really can be intimidating.

"Goodevening.." he started and everyone fell in silence.

"I would like to take this a chance to thank everyone for the success of Y.V firms. Managing a firm I must say is really challenging but if we have a motivation we can definitely achieve our goals. I wouldn't want to prolong this speech. I would like to leave a very important message; believe and you will achieve, with enough determination and will, we can get what we wan't and no one can hinder us from doing so." he said seriously emphasizing each word while looking at our table.

Naramdaman ko ang paghawak sa kamay ni Niel sa'kin. I look at him and he gave me a gentle smile. I meekly smile at him. He then sighed. Alam kong kung ano ano nanaman ang umiikot sa isipan ni Niel.

I pinched his arm before rolling my eyes at him."Don't think so deeply, don't worry okay?" He bit his lip before nodding. I smile.

"So for the future and succes of Y.V firms." Yvo raise his glass of wine and so all the people.
