≻───── ⋆✩⋆ ─────≺ELLA WAS AN overachiever. Simple as that.
She released an album almost a year ago and she wanted to release another one, fast.
So, she's been busy writing songs, recording them, presenting them to Griffin and getting approval.
It's all been one hell of a process.
The Middle Of Starting Over had a melancholy feel to it that Ella just wanted to transition out of.
After her major case of writer's block, she wrote Don't Want It Back, and Griffin and the fans loved it.
Ever since then, she had been on a roll with writing music.
And because of her constant need to overwork herself, the girl had been spending lots of her time at the studio. In fact, for the past week, she's been at Rocque Records more than the crib, thus leaving the boys alone where she hoped they weren't wreaking havoc. She would've spent the night at the studio if it weren't for Gustavo kicking her out at 11:00 P.M.
Combining that with the sleepovers with Camille, she hasn't been in the crib in three days.
She missed Kendall. A lot.
Ella was currently in the studio, having just finished recording another new song for her album.
"And done!" Gustavo exclaimed, leaning into the mic of the soundboard.
"Yes!" Ella cheered, taking off her headphones. "Just a couple more songs and then the album is finished!"
Gustavo stared at her, dumbfounded. "Reed, the album was done two songs ago."
"Gustavo, I know, but I have a songbook filled with unfinished songs that'll be perfect for it." Ella explained, walking out of the booth.
"Fine." Gustavo sighed. "Go take a break."
The two walked out to the lobby of the studio as the producer turned to the girl. "Reed, remind the rest of the Dogs to be on time for our big meeting."
Before she could respond, she stopped herself, seeing the boys enter the studio on skates, holding hockey sticks and in their Minnesota hockey jerseys. They must have just finished a game. And they were on time, which was a first.
"Here we are!" Kendall announced.
"And right on time!" They all exclaimed in unison.
Kelly quickly made her way over to the group. "BTR on time? You guys have never done this before," she said in disbelief as Ella nodded her head from besides her.
James spoke up, "Well, it's amazing how much you can get done when you've sworn off dating girls."
At this, Ella's head turned to Kendall as she raised a brow.
He looked at her confused expression before explaining, "Oh, no, not me. But, now that you're in the studio 24/7, I have been spending a lot more time with the guys. And they've sworn off dating girls."
"Good save, Kendork." Ella retorted.
"You've sworn off dating girls?" Gustavo plainly stated.
"Well, they just end up being fake actresses who hate corndogs." Carlos huffed, staring accusedly at their producer.
"And then you're on again, off again is on again, then off again. It's exhausting." Logan rambled.
"Since I've sworn off my fickle dating habits, my IQ has gone up 20 points." James exclaimed. "Go ahead. Ask me anything."
