IT'S BEEN FIVE days since Ella left her room in Jo's apartment.

After her sad ballad on the piano to an old song she wrote about Kendall, she decidedly buried herself underneath the covers of her inflatable mattress.

She also no longer lived in the crib which was strange to even think about. It had been her only home for 3 years and, just like that, it wasn't.

Ella was fine last week. She was keeping up with her strong exterior, not letting it break any time soon. But, all of a sudden, everything just came tumbling down on her and she became this shell of a person. She got into another argument with Kendall when he caught her moving out of the crib. He begged her not to leave, but she just couldn't live with him anymore. They weren't together, he cheated on her, he had feelings for another girl, he lied to her...

After looking through all of her old memories, her bubble completely filled with her emotions just popped.

Jo walked through the door in shock, seeing her best friend slumped over the piano, sobbing uncontrollably. She ran to her, engulfing her in a hug as she consoled her.

Since then, Ella has been cooped up in her room with no intentions on getting out.

Ella knew people were worried about her. It wasn't like she was insanely sad from the breakup. Well, yes, she was heartbroken, but now it was just an empty feeling inside her. Ever since she moved out and the emotions finally hit, the girl hasn't had any motivation to do anything. Something like this never happened to her before, and she just didn't know what to do.

Every time she would think about leaving her room, she would imagine all of the uncomfortable scenarios where she would just run into Kendall and not know what to do or say. It was just easier to stay inside.

During her hiatus, people did try and reach out to her, wondering what happened. She ignored the calls from Gustavo and Kelly purely out of humiliation. She didn't know how to face them after snapping at them and causing a mild scene at the studio. She knew she couldn't ignore messages from the boys or they would come barging in through the door like madmen, so she texted them back with simple responses, hoping it was good enough.

It was also unlike Ella to call in sick for work, especially work that she loved to do. However, she just couldn't handle seeing Kendall at Rocque Records or having Gustavo order her to watch over the boys so they wouldn't do anything stupid. She actually had no clue as to whether Gustavo and Kelly knew the real reason why she wasn't at the studio, nor did she have the energy to care.

It was the morning of the fifth day.

Jo and Camille sighed, seeing their best friend still curled up in bed. They allowed this to go on for the first two days, thinking Ella just needed to some space to take in the breakup, but now it's been a week. It was starting to get concerning.

Camille went to go open the curtains, while Jo pulled the blankets off of the brokenhearted girl.

"Ella." Jo sternly said. Her friend looked miserable. Her hair was tangled, and she was still wearing Kendall's old hockey hoodie.

"What?" She whined, covering her eyes from the sunlight that hit her face. "Close the curtains, it's too bright."

"No. You need to wake up and get your life back together." Camille scolded. "It's been almost a week since K-"

"Don't say his name." Ella groaned, putting her pillow over her head.

Jo and Camille shared a worried look.
