ELLA REED LET out a yawn, a smile filling her face as she stared out the window of the plane. The view of Los Angeles below made her stomach flutter with excitement.

The whirlwind of touring for seven months has come to an end, and it was bittersweet for Ella who was going to miss it. Her tour ended in Japan and she was currently taking the 11 hour flight back home. The massive jetlag was going to kill her.

However, she was happy to be reunited with the boys again. Besides them surprising her back when she performed in Minnesota, she had only seen their faces through a computer screen. Like the concert tour the boys went on almost three years ago, they made to sure to keep in contact with the girl. They tried to facetalk or text everyday.

Ella had left on a tense note with Kendall. He admitted that he loved her, but she was hesitant on getting back together with him. She was conflicted with her feelings, but at the end of the day, they agreed that they couldn't lose each other.

They officially mended things when she performed in Minnesota. For the time being, they were friends and that's all Ella could ask for.

She was just excited to be with the rest of their friends again. It felt like a start to a new season.

Hearing the announcement from the pilot that they were about to land, Ella hastily closed her song journal, putting it away, and flipped the tray table right back to the seat, the giddy feeling in her stomach growing more and more.

The girl didn't know this, but Kendall had secretly asked Kelly for her flight information so he and the guys could pick her up and surprise her.

It was 6 in the morning, and Kendall didn't know why Griffin had booked the earliest flight for her. Nonetheless, he dragged his friends out of bed and as he got a pillow thrown at him, he reminded them what today was. This woke them right up as they quickly rushed to a car and started to drive to LAX.

"You excited to see Ellllaaaa?" James teased, nudging Kendall's shoulder from the backseat.

The rest of the guys knew about Kendall's feelings for her. They didn't believe in that whole 'staying friends' spiel, and they were surprised that Kendall was willing to go along with it.

Unbeknownst to the two of them, they began to make 20 dollar bets as to when the two would get back together.

Now that all four boys had a license, they often chose the driver in their truest fashion: drawing straws. This time around, Logan had drew the short straw and was the designated driver for today while Kendall sat shotgun, James and Carlos in the backseat.

As both Carlos and Logan chuckled playfully, Kendall could only ignore the taunts and smile. "Mock all you want."

Logan sighed, "I can't believe she's been gone for seven months."

"I know. I even came up with a list of things Ella missed out on, so we could tell her all about it." Carlos grinned, holding up a piece of looseleaf that was filled with news.

"Well, I've stolen—I mean, saved every issue of Pop Tiger that came in the mail for her." James added, pulling out a stack of magazines and flipping through one.

"Stop admitting that." Logan chided.

"Hey!" James cried out, offended. "How many times do I have to tell you? Pop Tiger magazine is a great source of entertainment for guys."
