"FIRST OFF," GUSTAVO began, standing in front of the five teens who sat on a couch in the studio, "I'd like to congratulate Ella again for the release of her third studio album Decode." With that, the boys cheered and Kendall kissed the girl on the side of her head.

It was Ella's favorite project thus far. With 13 songs, it was at the top of the charts already.

The album release party was in full swing last night. There were lots of speeches, lots of food, and lots of singing and dancing.

Needless to say, she and the band were gifted with a break.

"Thanks boss," she grinned. "Now, what are we doing here?" The rest of the guys pointed at her in agreement, equally confused as to why they were called in on their supposed day off.

"As you know," Gustavo continued, pacing back and forth, "Big Time Rush's third studio album Get Up is in the works. We currently have 9 songs on the album, but Griffin wants 10. "

Ella raised her hand, "So, why are we here again?"

"Just let me finish!" Gustavo exclaimed, tired of the repetitive questions as the girl put her hands up in defense. "You were called down here because for the album's last song, I want you Dogs to write it."

With that, the group of five leaned forward in complete and utter interest. "Go on."

"This is awesome!" Carlos cheered, bursting open the door of the crib, the rest of his friends following in.

Ella smiled in agreement. They had all written their own songs before, but the idea of writing the last song on the band's album just seemed special.

"I know, right?" James agreed. "I can't believe how much Gustavo trusts us now."

"I also can't believe he only gave us a day to write it." Kendall remarked.

"Note to self: don't procrastinate an album." Ella joked.

The five of them sat on the bright orange couch in the living room, pieces of paper in each of their hands and Ella's song journal in hers.

"Remember what happened the first time we tried writing a song?" Logan reminisced as the five of them looked up in thought, a scene of the boys battling to the death over the Oh and Yeah song flashing through their minds.

The boys winced, while Ella shook her head at the memory. "Fighting with microphone stands and drum sticks, while holding Gustavo hostage at a fake spa were great ideas," she teased.

"Well, that won't be happening this time." Kendall reassured. "We're older and wiser now."

"You mean, young and dumber." Ella mocked, causing Kendall to tickle her side to which she softly shoved him away.

"Well, Gustavo has never let us write the last song before." Logan mentioned. "He said it had to close the album perfectly."

"That sounds like a lot of pressure." Ella realized, starting to get nervous.

"I don't like being pressured." Carlos panicked.

"Guys." Kendall stated. "Calm down. It's going to be a breeze." He leaned forward, grabbing a pen from the coffee table, before getting comfortable in his seat. "So, what's our first lyric?"

Five Minutes Later...

"Carlos! For the last time, we are not calling our song 'Helmet's Rule'!"
