MELANIE RICHARDS
He nods and gives me a warm smile to me before I run through the stairs. The situation back there wasn’t awkward at all, it’s actually so much relaxing to be able to talk with Bobby who happened to be my dad’s bestfriend. I push the door handle, revealing Niall and his chest hair facing the ceiling. He is still sleeping and even though I can’t wake his peaceful moment, I kind of want to ask Niall to come with me. I already told Bobby I’m going with him to the church, there’s no going back. I shake his shoulder slowly and his eyes are slowly begin to open. I think he hates to be woken up by someone, but he grins anyway at the sight of me.
"Morning, sleepy head.” I smile. He smiles as he gets up and stands on his foot then wraps his bare arms around me. “What is wrong with you.”
“I think I need to be up more early because there are no dreams left I should be in.”
“What’s with this weird morning behavior?” I push him aside.
He scratches his eyes. “I don’t know, maybe that I love you too much it simply slaps me in the face because I’m afraid it’s just a stupid dream.”
“Go brush your teeth, lover-boy.” I roll my eyes. “I borrow your t-shirt is that okay?”
“Yeah, sure. I love seeing you wear them.” He sends me his charming smile that stabs me right on my chest.
“By the way, I told your dad that we will be coming to the church.”
“Oh,” He states, taking a piss on the toilet.
“Is that okay with you?”
He doesn’t answer.
“Niall.”
“Yeah?”
“Is that okay with you?” I repeat.
“Yeah, it’s totes fine.” He says with an american accent. He does good. “It’s just, I haven’t been in church for a while, now.” He shrugs.
“Well, tell me when you’re ready.” I say, leaving him in the bathroom alone.
NIALL HORAN
I walk through the stairs to see my dad talking to my girlfriend. I wear my flannel red shirt and my old skinny jeans that I haven’t brought to my apartment.
“Are you coming to the church, Niall?” Liz asks as I make to the counter to pour myself a milk.
"Uh, yeah. Are you?” I take a sip.
“Yes, Marcus is coming also. We always come to the church, Niall.” Liz takes the empty glasses to the sink. While me over here, glancing towards Melanie who is talking to my dad. I love how casual and beautiful she looks. She doesn’t have to try to be beautiful. “It’s weird, you haven’t been in church for a while.”
“Yeah, well, weird for me too.” I still haven’t looked away from the sight of Melanie.
“Bless you.” She adds, washing the sink. Liz wears decent with her white t-shirt matches her big stomach and her long black skirt. She pulls her hair into a bun like a normal Mexican woman would wear. I ignore her remark as I walk towards Melanie and my dad.
“You ready?” My dad asks me, standing on his foot as I sneak behind Melanie to wrap my arm around her waist. She puts on her maroon coat and walk out to the car with Marcus and Lizzie following behind us.
“Have you told your mom yet that you will be going with us?”
“Your dad did.” She chuckles.
As we get to the church, sitting beside Melanie in church is something I should live up with. She listens to every words the Pastor says. When we supposed to wish for our demand by the host the Pastor gave me, I only wish something. Melanie. As I finish, I still see Melanie with her eyes shut and her hands collide then the streak of sun, illuminated her from the colored Saint painted over the glass. She looks absolutely breathtaking. It’s odd to see her here, instead in the corner of the chapel.
My dad drives us all to the nearest market to get some groceries with Lizzie before driving us back to home. Melanie decides to just stay a bit and lay on my bed.
“Wey hey.” I get in and lay with her on my bed as she puts her arm over my body. “Melanie, do you know that I actually saw you somewhere?”
“No.”
